For a different experience in Mombasa area try Moorings, a floating restaurant on the edge of Mtwapa (you can see it from the bridge into Mtwapa, crossing from Mombasa county into Kilifi county). It s a great location, they have good food at reasonable prices. Not like your fancy Nairobi spits 🥴 but it is among some of the good places we have here in coast (and we don't have that many) 😉
Tamarind has the best food and also awesome boat ride, I miss this experience lived in mombasa for 7 years, can't wait to visit when I come back home soon! Much love for putting Kenya experience out there
Both of you look absolutely amazing! Dave, as a male viewer, I must say, your facial game is on point! Please consider making a video for your male audience on proper grooming habits (facial care, prefecting the beard and hair, etc.). We would particularly benefit from it.
Finally in my hometown! Lovely video, a lot of beautiful architecture as well. And what's more, my dad was one of the team supervising the construction of Bliss Resort where you're staying. ☺
You know the food was good when Dave skipped a bathroom tour. I highly recommend doing the dhow, the ocean sunset is magical and dinner by the mangroves...next level... worth doing at least once in a lifetime
Great video and the Seafood looked just as good as it tasted on video. Dave's enthusiasm was next level as usual. With the price you paid for the meal, the quality of the food served at least seemed to match the price.
You have really good content...how can the content be pushed for more views coz i feel we are missing out..i bumped into your content today and dont know how i have missed out on it for so long
If want Japanese food check out Misono. It’s a family friend’s restaurant (Mombasa and Nairobi). Owner used to work at Safari Park hotel and decided to go solo. Excellent sushi and tepanyaki! Great videos. Keep it up!
Tamarind Mombasa is an overhyped place, they tend to serve fresh seafood to their select clients and stale fish to others!! Also their bill has hidden charges like a service fee, which is wrong, because the food is marked up way too high.
@@DaveMani yea, going back I see some. maybe shouldve been more. I had to really search and the times were short even though I can pause the video. good stuff overall.

Oh nooo! I did forget the bathroom tour loll.
For the dhow, does the price of booking include the food that you'll eat or is that separate?
Nice..

Tamarind owns the carnival restaurant in Nairobi and the Tamarind on Ngong road Karen definitely their restaurant are not cheap.
They also own Savora hotels.
U guys have deeper pockets,bt anyway great video as usual
Thankfully with the channel, these are all business expenses.
The way we were waiting for the mombasa vlogs 😅
2 more to come! :)
Tamarind is a great restaurant but it's an enemy to the wallet . 😂.
100% 🤣
I hope I get a chance to go there as a chef
Lets hope :)
Lets hope :)
That has always been my dream?
The Tamarind is a nice spot...plus Ruto's taxes :)
Start getting used to paying taxes. There’s nothing for free again

At 0:40 he resembles you...
Best place for lobster 🦞 but still think it’s very expensive when lobsters da rest are fished right there
Very expensive indeed. Especially when you know that the lobster comes from less than one km away. You truly pay for the location.
Dream couple ❤️.
Cheers my friend.

Not sure about all those claims but I agree on the over priced.

I would say it's too expensive for nothing. It's nice but definately not worth the bill.
When you eat there, you're really paying for the location.
@@DaveMani there are other better locations. Have you tried English point? I found it to be way more beautiful and less expensive.

not even one shot of what the plate looks like or even the menu ??!! this is incomplete.
