Each wm needed at least 1 match only having 21 is embarrassing as 2k14 had 47 matches
It’s not as easy as it sounds to do that many matches when they are still having the games on last gen consoles giving them so many limitations
@@frenchfries2424 but ten years ago they made twice as many on an Xbox 360 and a ps3
They put more effort into these matches, 2k24 will go far more in depth with the matches
my guy, you bave to mention that a bunch of those matches were basically exhibition matches between the two that had the match in the respective arena with no cutscenes, and I don't think modern day 2K would approach this thing in that way
@@kearney9273I don’t think u realize how hard game programming is now a days. Just because they have more powerful tools to make the game, doesn’t make it easier. Because 2k14 had less things like that they could pack more things in but now that they have better tools to make the game look better and sorts, you have to cut some things out. Plus I’m just happy we getting more then 12 matches like usual.
I really hope during the Rock vs Austin match for WM 17 we get Stone Cold’s disturbed entrance theme 🤞
I can't wait to relieve the part where vacated runs out and helps Austin win.

I'm glad Great One spotted that lightning edit to the Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels in WrestleMania 25, cause I thought the same when you said for the first reveal the atmosphere looked too dark compared to the reality I'm glad they reworked on that.
Considering the Undertaker vs AJ Styles boneyard match is Undertaker's last match in WWE, it'd be a shame if they don't include it.
You'll have to pay 50$ for it in dlc

How are they going to do that when most big matches, the talent isn't under WWE contract anymore? Also we already had 30 years of Wrestlemania in another game, we don't want any matches we already had in a game from 10 years ago, that's just stupid

@@Albrto2077 Because WM is turning 40, or turned 40 I'm not exactly sure, don't watch as much as I use to, so they're celebrating that, and seeing that the last WM showcase was 10 years ago, we have matches that were either left out of the old one, or didn't happen yet.

I’m pissed about the 3 matches at WM 39 I won’t lie. Unnecessary as hell but I really like that they’ve added the firefly funhouse match and the match KO Show match.
Feel like they could’ve done more cool matches like the BoneYard match and Kane Vs Khali for the unlockables but it is what it is
Makes sense once you look at who’s in that matches and on the cover for the standard and deluxe.
And that a lot of people aren't in WWE anymore

Tbh we all knew that Uncle Howdy was Bo Dallas before Bray's passing but I am seriously imagining a fantasy match between "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt, and "Uncle Howdy" Bo Dallas.
That would've been an awesome match between the two.

2k showcase should have more matches since there were 39 wrestle mania at least one match from each mania
I wish it was that simple but when u put more in more into the presentation and graphical department, your gonna have to cut ties somewhere and that somewhere was these matches. The only reason they were able to do that many matches back then because the graphics and other stuff like that wasn’t as good
Majority of the big matches are from people who are in difficult companies now.

I just wished WWE added Rock vs Hogan WM18, Triple H vs Batista WM21, Cena vs Shawn Michales WM23, Edge vs Undertaker WM24. Those where my favorite matches.

Im just gutted they didn't include the Rock vs. Hollywood Hogan from Wrestlemania 18 in the showcase mode. Besides that, this game looks great.
Love the reverse sing shot tech . Hopefully its that way in game miss the animated action
My only issue with the WrestleMania 25 arena is that instead of having the same lighting that 38 has, it looks like a brighter light of 34 last year, which was too foggy
Man seeing that Pin System in that Randy vs Seth Rollins Clip makes me wish we had that back so bad
I'd say their hiding the Goldberg vs Lesnar match at Wrestlemania XX. The reason I think that is because they've been hyping up the special guest referee match returning, and Steve Austin was the special guest referee of that match. It would make sense for that to be the match even though it wasn't a main event. That match was huge in the fact that both Goldberg and Brock were leaving professional wrestling at the time. Not to mention, the ending of that match was great after Goldberg won the match. Him and Steve drink beers until Steve stunned Goldberg in the middle of the ring. That was definitely a Wrestlemania moment for the books.
21 seems like a weird number of matches. I wonder if it was initially 25 and they did in fact cut Brock.

The authority version of Seth Rollins was my favorite so I’m glad we’re getting that attire
At the very least, they should do what they did with the last gen versions of the 2K games on the PS3 and 360 where its just 2K14 with updated rosters, so that next gen can improve on its own.
I'm excited and 2K24 has the capability to shelf HCTP. Which would be fitting considering who was on the cover of that game. To do this though everything has to come together, the modes have to be great. The roster has to be greater and it has to look like a next-gen HDR presentation. The holding back issue is legit and I don't think they are talking out of their ass. This should be the last time we get this game on last gen consoles. Rumor has it. It will not be on PC next year either to try and knock down the modders. Great review as always brother 👊

i think last gen is gonna stick around for another 2-3 years at the minimum. its holding them back but, they cant just ignore them, because that's like saying no to extra money.

You can't have all the matches from wrestlemania past because most of the entertainers are now Wrestlers in AEW.

Forgetting which mania The Fire Fly Funhouse match was held is a result of Vince’s stupid decision to stop numbering Mania. I even forget which matches are held in that era of mania.

Trust me just because they still putting games out for last gen don’t mean if they stop it would be better, look at UFC 5 for example the belts still look terrible and not realistic so I doubt that’s what holding them back from making the belts look real
