We have entered the Renaissance era of WWE and we finally don’t get the feeling we’re having fun watching and playing these things as chores no more. :D
They had tag commands in previous games, along with manager commands. I assumed they were in the last game and I just couldn't figure them out. Also still be a lot of CM Punk caws even after the DLC because of attire and age and all.
The first SvR, and I believe SvR 2006 had the same features for tag and managers 1:26. Good to see things like this making a comeback. Normal tag matches got kinda stale, I'd like to see them add more double team options for tornado tag matches. Like groggy on the ropes double team, barricade, standing grapple tag finishers maybe? Am I alone on this? Cause I think it would be fun to have the brothers of destruction, and when one goes for a chokeslam the other (if finisher is stored) can join and make it a double chokeslam, and similar things.
I just hope that they made the ring announcers announce custom stars like they do with regular superstars, like all the names need to be said longer, I'm sick of hearing names that sound like there was something missing or just said quickly and i didn't get to enjoy the slow introduction like Roman Reigns gets I.e the name Hannibal Ceasar was like a 2 seconds worth of entrance time but roman reigns gets like 5 seconds worth of time
I like how they brought back the tag team features and when you send your tag partner to go fight they partner they actually go over there and put in work! Lol

The Hardy Boyz, Edge & Christan, Ziggler, The Big Show, Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan and the list goes on. but I'm glad that the game's creation suite doesn't restrict us from recreating accurate models of these superstars. If only wrestling promotion contracts are not so restricting, we could've had it all rolling in the deep 🥲
You never mentioned when talking about tag matches the illegal partner can now only stop a pin/submission once per tag cycle. Always fun to cheese it by doing a pin before you intend to and easily get the win before they tag out
Usually 2K would be bragging about these features in the back of the game box. But the fact that these features are just in the game & 2K not making a huge deal out of them, just shows me that they are confident that this game is gonna be good. It’s like they’re saying “We don’t have to make a big deal about them, cause you should just be able to trust us to make a great game.”
personally, I buy WWE 2K for the Universe Mode and I am so happy that there are changes to that mode, plus a reason to actually play MyFaction this year and of cousre Casket matches and Ambulance matches... and what sounds like a good Showcase and DLCs... I will actually buy the Ultimate Edition this year for sure

2k22 they shut the servers down without fixing any bugs like the one where I can’t attack my tag partner. Nothing registers. They don’t fix bugs they just make new ones
Finally caved and got it from GameStop when I traded in two games to buy it!! Got the game for 21 bucks!!! ❤️ it so far and 2k25 may or may not top it!!!
I think once 2K stop pandering to old gen consoles and focus on next gen, then there will be significant improvements in the overall game. I for one am looking forward to it.

Two things, 1, its possible that only SOME of those MyF are unlockable in other modes, I think if it was everybody that you unlock in MyF came to other modes, they would be hyping it up BIG time.. Also when you said "its like free DLC" maaaybe in some cases if you are able to grind for a card, but a lot of the time those cards are not going to be cheap... And if MyTeam is any indication they could keep some cards out of the 'Player Market' and have some of them (say the really cool ones like Big Poppa Pump) gambling only! Just makes sure you guys don't get your hopes TOO high up there before we have a legitimate confirmation... I am someone who used to love MyTeam, and I like MyF, but I know how these modes work and how 2k operate.

My problem with Wwe games lately is that it feels so outdated Just look at the superstars some look totaly different now and even tough there is a lot of changes in match types it still feels like a waste to buy it full price if you own 2k23. So I guess I'll wait for a 50% off sale and maybe even wait for 2k25 because probably everything new in this game is gonna be in the next and even more so if you want your money worth and own 2k23 just wait have patience
