WWE ‘13 is one of my favorite games of all time. I haven’t played it in like 9 years though. The Attitude Era mode was one of my favorite parts and the roster was just stacked

Day of Reckoning 1+2 and SvR to SvR 07 where my favorites, every game after that just didnt hit the same.
You should return to make content of this olds Smackdown/Smackdown vs Raw games. I miss your gameplays videos and I totally agree about SvR 2011 being the GOAT I think its belongs up there with Smackdown HCTP.
Those European covers on SYM and HCTP games hit different. Better than the US cover imo. I’m American lol
omg I've started watching WWE as a kid in 2007 and there were no PS1 wrestling games in Argentina, so the only option was that awfull Raw game for pc (and an updated version modded to '07). When i got my PS2... Oh boy... Smackdown vs Raw 2008 changed EVERYTHING. Lately i've been playing the PS3 version and it's still amazing.
Used to play the sh*t out of WWF RAW , people used to mod it and got excited when the roster got updated haha

As bad as the career modes historically were, I'd really like to see it as just a post-myrise mode or its own mode. Superstar universe mode is so incredibly bare bones you might as well just play classic and pretend

Yes, classic games are cheap in European countries. We in Bosnia and Herzegovina find them often in tech shops, they can also be an extra for buying a classic console (yes, some PS3's can still be bought, as well as PS4 and PS5).

My WWE games experience started really strong with SvR 07. SvR 2011 had the same overwhelming feeling, I really enjoyed that one.

SVR 08 I played almost every day up till wwe12 then still played Svr 08 such a great game in my opinion
WWE2k23 was the first wrestling game I had bought since WWE12. And ironically I hadn’t been watching wrestling closely for around a decade (I was only watching for Randy Orton) until 2022 where I came back and once again became a full time wrestling fan and it makes me want to play wrestling games even more. I wasn’t gonna buy 2k24 but now I’m almost sure I’m gonna buy it. Ik some people prefer different SvR games to others but I loved all of them. 07,08,09,10 and 11. Playing those on the PS3 and PSP, that was peak gaming enjoyment for me.

I remember as a kid like 10 years old searching for a SVR 07 at every GameStop because it was always harder to find and when I got it in 2010 or so I’d play it more than SVR 09 or 10 lol it’ll always be my favorite wrestling game specially the 360 version
My favorite is WWE '13 the most fun i had was in WWE 2K14 30 years of WrestleMania and WWE 2K15 "Hustle, Loyalty, Disrespect" story
I just recently completed my collect of all the WWE games from Smackdown vs Raw to WWE 2K14. It took me about 4 years but I finally got all of them. I remember wanting to own all of them as a kid but I owned like 2 or 3 it’s nice owning all of the games I wanted as a kid.

2k14 is the game just like smackdown just bring it was the next phase of games that will forever have a special place in my ❤️ bad ass story mode and the freedom in universe mode left me satisfied for at least the next 4 years
Honestly i was at first shocked that these games are so cheap in other countries outside the U.S but whem i think about it it makes more sense. Old = cheap. New = expensive.

That was fun 👏🏻 The ones I still own nowadays are WMXIX on Gamecube and 12 on 360 as far as I can tell. I love the World Heavyweight title disc and intro for XIX. I definitely owned DoR, SvR 06 on PS2, 10 or 11 on Wii, 13 on PS4 or 360, and possibly 14-16 on PS4. After that it was mainly digital or played on emulator like yourself. Great memories of playing Day of Reckoning with my siblings. I can clearly recall GM mode on '06 in my mind but our PS2 had issues with the disc tray. My brother and I reference the soundtrack to '07 all the time so not out of the question that we owned that. 08 and on is foggy for me; I stopped watching for a few years in 2010 until getting back in (game-wise) watching nL play WWE '12. I think I was given 2010 or 2011 just because and don't have a lot of memories besides the case. Definitely missed out on All Stars at the time, giving it a try later when others made it look fun. I have kept a lot of old games/consoles but wish I knew that I was going to get back into wrestling and want to archive this stuff. I mostly live vicariously through YTers since 2K20 because I can't get a PS5. Guys like you and yumboy11 loving 2011 makes me want to test all of them out and have my own ranking. I think that's something I'm gonna do with my new gaming laptop :)

If I had to say my favorite - not necessarily best - DoR and 2006 are the ones that stick in my mind. That was early days of me getting into wrestling as a late 1990s kid. I loved Gamecube, love the songs in that game, awesome gameplay, physics, Story Mode. Can pick up controls for that anytime from muscle memory. I know DoR2 looked better, DoR1 is still better imo. I didn't have the experience to say HCTP was the GOAT, therefore '06 was my one for that era. GM Mode is the highlight yet I prefer it to others on PS2. Biggest theme for me with these games is they always tend to get slower as the devs look for more "realism". I like how fast my two picks are compared to their successors. Hot take but DoR1 and 07 still look more impressive in some ways than say 15 or 23 relatively. I agree with you that somewhere along the way they got too same-y. The progression of graphics cannot have been nearly as big a leap from PS4-5 generations as they were in the 90s-2000s

I didnt get a system till the first SDvsR came out. I played that game 247. After that i got "Here come the pain" only because i wanted to play as Brock but i like the SDvsR gameplay better

I have every game from Just Bring It to WWE 13 plus 2k18 and Battlegrounds. I played some of the n64 games on an emulator. I’ve been wanting to play 2k14 for years now. It’d be nice to play 2k23 or 24 too.
