I had a samsung Galaxy Active 2. Supposed to be 100% waterproof but at some point something happened ( now out of gaurantee ) that has caused moisture/water to get into the watch. Now screwed. Bought the Gt1... then heard about the Gt2 to sold the first one and now ordered the Gt2. looking forward to receiving it. Having seen the reviews for the Gt2 you get a fair amount and I think this would easily rival the Active watch on several points... namely the battery life.
Been waiting for the GT 2 and I'm glad you can answer a call or store and listen to music and you'll get probably the best battery life then the composition as well, Like usual Huawei is a ahead of the rest.

I already have the original Huawei GT but I'm tempted to buy this one because it has the ability to store music and it can connect directly to the new Freebuds 3 and by doing that I would be able to listen to music while working out without having my phone nearby.
Dominik Zabicki For me, GT2 has better sleep tracking, but otherwise they are pretty similar in what I need. The price of this is 150% of Amazfit GTS though. But dope design.

Does it have a watch face like on the Galaxy Watch with informations like (sunrise, sunset, date) ? I also have a Galaxy Watch 46mm which the battery lasts 2-3 days with AoD ON, bluetooth 9hr/day and, at the moment, i'm trilled by the fact that Huawei said this GT2 will last 2weeks... but to be honest i would be more then happy with 1week considering the fact i'm using AoD ON. Looking forward fot the extended review, i'm curios how long does the battery keeps you :) Also if you got time to check that watch face, would appreciate it. Thx ;)

Huawei Watch GT 2 can also listen to built-in with by we can put the music files into up to 500 songs, because it has the capacity in the machine is about 2 GB
@TechSpurt what do you think about using this watch while in the forest or in mud. It has a GPS setting and havent tried it out yet myself, but it would come in handy for military use to make land nav easier however it's so clean and beautiful I dont really want to take it out in military training situations. Let me know what you think.
Is there a way to use trainings (Running Plans) from Huawei Heatlh App on the watch? I've had the GT2 for 2 months and haven't been able to find how. It's a bit ridiculous, to follow my half marathon training plan I have to carry BOTH my phone and a watch, kinda makes you wonder what's the purpose of the watch if you have to carry the phone... I expected an actual integration between Huawei App and Huawei watch

Does it offer wireless charging? I think I saw charging connectors which is a con since they get rusted and it is very expensive to fix. This happened to me with the first Samsung watches. Why didn't this expert mention this in the review?
Any idea how this watch functions in open water? It's ATM5 and marketed as a swimming / triathlon watch, but I can't find any info about GPS accuracy. Also not about how the touchscreen reacts when wet.
On iOS it would work but on th the app overall you don’t get everything you would on Android hence why not ideal getting this with an apple phone might as well get an Apple Watch but your decision

I've had mine for just over a month cannot fault it does everything that I need and battery life is amazing.
watch gt2 is my favorite smartwatch. long battery life, water resistant, stylish and with tons of workout modes. definitely recommended!

Recommend using the silicon strap tho

Is there a way to change the pace if you are running so it shows the current km/hour?
You can change most measurement from metric to imperial within the health app on the phone. Your watch would reflect the change.
