The m300 gives a glance of a working mid-wheel (drive-wheel with a working suspension). If compared to the m350, (bigger brother), the drive wheels have the Flex-Link as shown but add a working shock/ spring to really get a working drive-wheel suspension...crucial for chronic back pain. Add the two-sided sticky tape holding the rear tail-lights in place and I can't, any longer, justify Permobil money when more affordable options are out there...replacing my Permobil C500 with a Quickie qm710 - what a ride!

Well I just got my m3 chair and it's so much better than the c350 that I had before, now with the m3 I could raise my seat up and it's kind of like a fork lift lol I could be at eye level when I need to be and I could grab store items without asking for help!!! This chair is amazing although I don't understand the Bluetooth settings on the chair but that's fine cause I hardly ever use Bluetooth on anything but overall I would give this chair a five star rating

I guess the Permobil C500, the F5's predecessor, I have has been a enlightening experience some people might like to know about. The mid-wheel drive power chair shown above has the same 3G seating system as mine. Due to the unique armrest(s) on the 3G seat, no seating mods other than Permobil $$$ side-laterals. Additionally, the mid-wheel above gives a glimpse of the Flex-link suspension on the drive wheel. The next model up, mid-wheel, has working shock/springs and Flex-Link suspension promising an improved ride and comfort covering the mid-wheel drive wheels. Permobil just released a watered-down version that's available wo seating. Choose Mobility Solutions Matrix seating or Sunrise Medical Jay backrests and cushions for every seating need but be clear the Permobil mid-wheel will not ride well down the sidewalk. Discuss seating mods with a Rep. to see if other seating effects the warranty (electronics). Additionally, the travel on front and rear articulating arms/ casters is not more than 3-4 inches meaning Permobil's mid-wheels do not do curbs well - up or down. They should ask for consumer input.

This wheelchair looks and seems a good basis. Unfortunately old-fashioned lead-acid batteries, old-fashioned brush motors and hardly a possibility to program the controller from a laptop.
Why does Permobil make wheelchairs that drive so slow, while EU regulations allow 20, 30 and 45 km/h speeds for wheelchairs.
Millenniums, generation-Z and modern elderly want wheelchair freedom and program themselves how strong or fast their chairs needs to be.
Please use better ‘Gyroscope steering stabilization’ and ‘better&programmable Adjustable hydraulic ride dampeners’ when wheelchairs go faster.
And please Permobil make at least one special brushless motor wheelchair option available for people who cannot get subsidies but need one for a DIY price.
Lots of success and thanks for renewing.

Wolter Boekkooi lol here in belgium max is 15km/h and that speed is even too high for this kind of 6 wheeled wheelchairs or you should only drive it on athletic smooth trackingfields hehehehe......anyway this permobil M3 is superior aside Quickie M700 even due me tested them many weeks on all kinds of Belgian roads, busses, trains,....during dry and wet weather :-)

depends on what you get with it. Thigh, leg pads... blue tooth controls... stander... etc. Can be up to 46K as was my old one. However, they seem to be getting less expensive than the were 5 years ago. Am purchasing this one and it'll cost 3 Xs as much for me now simply b/c of escalating insurance costs. 5 years ago, 1K and now 3K. Glad I have insurance.

Base price is $12, 500 and about twice the base cost of quickie, invacare, pride. Add-on's are outrageous.
