As long as the layer 3 switch supports IPv6 you should be okay. If I an understanding you correctly, you will need to enable IPv6 on the device and then configure the interface as a routed port and not a switchport, set the IPv6 address on it, and configure it for SLAAC.

Hi, how to enable auto config visibility?

For the client just make sure that it is set to obtain its IPv6 address automatically. For the router, you just need to set the correct flag in the router advertisement. That should be covered in the video.
