i don't see DHCP option in ipv6 pc configuration can you help ? I aonly see automatic or static, why is that ? i have the latest version and i tried troubleshotting still same.
please i am trying to configure DHCPV6 USING SVI with layer 3 switch and no router and it is not working; please can you do a video configuring DHCPV6 server on Layer 3 switches only?
I'm currently doing this for a lab and I'm on the stateful part but the address prefix command in config-dhcpv6 mode is not working ("unrecognized command"). The lab says you need to be using Cisco IOS version 16.9.4 and my router is 15.5, but that's not too far apart and I'm sure the command should still be there. Is this happening because I haven't changed the flags yet? The a flag is on by default and I turned on the o flag for stateless dhcpv6.
Definitely, as you say, that version of Packet Tracer has a bug, I did the same configuration with the "ipv6 nd managed" command and the router displayed the "Hosts use DHCP to obtain routable addresses" status on the ipv6 interface (M bit Flag=1).
