Etta James 1968 'I’d Rather Go Blind.' I saw Cadillac Records (the story of Etta James & Cadillac Records) and Beyoncé killed that song. How old was she in that? Angelina was 12 here got the mic for her birthday and what an investment. Here is Angelina, just sitting, sitting on the couch singing into the mic backwards, purposely or not and belting out the best rendition I have ever heard. I was instantly transported back to 1968 when I was 13. That was at the very height of Motown probably my favorite period in music. That music was magical. Angelina could have been born in '56 and she would have been one of best Motown Artists of the time in '68 and doing it at 12 yrs old. I can guarantee Angelina picked out that mic and again what a choice. She has now equaled all of the greatest artists of all time. The GOAT! And she's only 17! 17! The Music Industry isn't prepared for what is coming. Not sure I am.
