Brody! Watched every episode. Enjoyed every episode. Don't let the injury stop you from achieving your goal. You will become an IRONMAN. Pain is only temporary, victory is forever. Who cares that you cannot sport for weeks or months after the race? The goal is to become an IRONMAN. Accept and maybe even more enjoy the aftermath. Will be rooting for you in two days. You can do it! LETSSSSS GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Seeing that over 10k people are subscribed to your channel it really would only take $1 from each of them to hit your donation goal for T2KO - so I hope more people come to support your cause in the last week 🤞🏼

Good luck for the race! I've got a mate doing his first at Port as well, so keen to watch you both. On the knee, have you and the sports doc discussed corticosteroid injection? As I'm sure you know, it won't do much for the underlying pathology but may help to reduce the pain enough for you to be confident going into the Ironman.

My Kickr came with no cassette so I ended up buying the same Sram frehub and 12 spd cassette I have on the bike to avoid issues when swapping around, since I read a few things online, just a heads up. But the bike shop will probably know the best solution

I’m loath to suggest this, but having had the experience of injuring myself 3 weeks out from an ironman (slipped down some stairs going to the pool, and stuffing my knee) is it worth considering transferring your IM entry from Port to Cairns, 6 weeks later? Probably not possible … but …

That’s the spirit: 3 weeks out, I’d just done my last long run as part of a brick (60km bike, 25km run) and was feeling great: on track for an Ironman PB (aiming for around 11 hours at what turned out to be the very last Ironman Australia held at Forster), but ended up with my Ironman personal worst (14:31). Oh well, lols. I got to walk about 11km in the dark with my wife & it was actually a pleasant night for a walk hehe.
