  • Tune in as Al, a long-time truck driver at Easley Transportation, discusses the importance of safety at railroad crossings. When truck drivers know how to properly navigate railroad crossings, they can avoid disastrous accidents. However, failing to practice safety at railroad crossings can have devastating consequences.
It's our goal at Easley Transportation to equip our truck drivers and all commercial vehicle operators with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to perform their job efficiently and safely.
We have terminals in Memphis, TN, and Atlanta, GA. If you're an experienced Class-A driver in these areas, we'd be glad to talk to you about employment opportunities at our growing company. Learn more about driving for Easley at easleytrans.co....

You didnt mention the most important thing of crossing safety. If you do get high centered on a crossing, look at the railroad crossing gates, there will be a blue or white square sign with a phone number and crossing ID #. Call that dispatcher and give them the ID, it'll immediately locate you to that exact railroad crossing and dispatch will contact any nearby train to stop. NEVER call 911 and waste your time nor theirs, 911 is useless in this case.
