It kinda does, kinda doesnt. As in, only about half of the designs from FOC transfer over, and a LOT of the story got retconned in the show. What's even more weird, is WFC was supposed to be a prequel to the G1 cartoon, and the third game was supposed to tie the trilogy to the michael bay movies. None of it makes sense, but I'd rather this be tied to TF:prime than anything else, that show was pretty good

This game was amazing. One of the best Transformers games out there. And it was a prequel to Transformers: Prime, one of the best Transformers shows we ever got.

I don't see that happening because in Transformers Prime, Star Scream is the leader of the Decepticons until Megatron comes back, even though in this game, he was overthrown and attacked by everyone, and then he went out of his way to attack other Decepticons. Not to mention the fact that Grimlock isn't even referenced in Transformers Prime and neither are the other dinobots. Neither is RC or Bulkhead. It would be really cool if these two stories existed together, but I don't see that fitting together.
Mans hid for a long as time, rebuilt megatrion while Starscream was literally right outside, rides a gigantic ass tether, then fights about 100 autobots just to destroy some defenses.
Everything about this game is nothing short of PEAK Transformers story and gameplay. The callback to G1 and switching between Autobot/Decepticon sides was a welcome and well done feat for the final mission. The pacing, the chaos and then you get to see how capable some of the Cybertronians are on their OWN. We expect Soundwave to always complete a mission. To date; Soundwave's success rate is probably anywhere between 95 - 98% And, we GOTTA give it up to my main man; JAZZ. Basically took out an entire COMBINER by himself.... HIM. SELF. And damn right you chose Optimus. The only correct choice 😄. TILL ALL ARE ONE!
Man i was so young when this game came out. I was so angry when it ended. Not because it was bad but cause it was so good. Just to end the game like that i couldn't wait to see where they would go next. But Damn was I upset they ended it just like that.
This entire chapter doesn't even feel like a final battle, this is a bloodbath. Both sides throw everything they have in the chance they will get through the space portal before the other. Only to end up being violently launched into it before the portal exploded.
yknow... if i were still on cybertron on either side id really just forget the whole war thing. i mean both leaders allegedly fell into a collapsing space-bridge and died as far as im aware.
As much as I love this game, I hate how glitched and buggy it was at some times. Example is here 7:05 when Bruticus is using his shield-blade to mow down the Autobot soldiers. Instead of it spinning around, it's just shaking. Another example is how they had a unfinsihed animation on this level; 11:39 when Jetfire launch two of his missiles, who at first I thought was just glitched when I played this level. But nah, comparing it to the next scene they are fully rendered as they hit Bruticus. A minor, yet annoying mistake to a otherwise good game.
Playing the Last Mission When i choose Optimus Prime (Which is my Favurite) I Brutally Battle Megatron and i do not stop Pressing the Button (I'm using PC) just to Brutalize Megatron for i hate him so Much
