Hi Helen. It seems as if you had a wonderful week away with the family in Bertha. It looks like a lovely campsite with great facilities and extremely clean and cared for. I’m so pleased the sunshine finally arrived and perfect for your holiday as you could spend whole days at the beach which is great for the children and Dolly , not forgetting you,Rob and Katie of course! It’s nowhere near as much fun if you’re forced to stay indoors because of bad weather. 💖🌸

My husband, dogs and I stayed at Concierge a couple of winters ago. Had a pitch with the big tent by the side…lovely that was. Heat from the log cooker, fridge, table etc. Also a professional dog washing bathroom!!! Lovely site even in the winter. The outside bar was heated and at that time there was a Japanese (I think) takeaway on-site. All lovely. Dogs loved the little river/stream round by the bigger holiday rentals you can book without a caravan.
Lovely to see it again. We live in Essex and love that part of the country 🙂

Hi Helen the campsite looks amazing so glad you had the weather to go with it. I love Bracklesham Bay used to have some lovely holidays there when I was a teenager. We loved caravanning when my children were small we caravanned all over Europe and stayed at some amazing sites. So glad you have enjoyed it.❤️❤️

I have just come home from a weeks holiday visit to Bracklesham Bay with my daughter and granddaughter. We stayed in a beachside ground floor apartment which was recommended by friends. What a great time ..soo peaceful with on the doorstep beach views. We downloaded a vessel finding app which other viewers may be interested in ..you can map all local sea vessels passing wherever you may be staying by the sea.
How lovely. We were probably on the same beach at the same time! xx

Helen, you haven't mentioned this!! 😂😂😂 I went for a meal for my birthday with the family last night. Local pub in the Forest and there was a blackboard there stating that tickets were still available for Hells Bells who would be performing there tomorrow night!! Well I did laugh!! Visuals in my head have been going crazy!! Apparently theyre an ACDC tribute band!! Glad the camping went well. Have a good weekend. Nana Karen x

Beautiful campsite, and my goodness how like Hattie is to Katie. The sauce you made looked great, could you freeze that obviously before adding pasta. You had great weather and a wonderful time.

So glad you enjoy camping! We camp at least 30 days through out the summer from June till September, love the relaxed atmosphere,fishing ,golfing and hanging out around the beach and water. Our granddaughters join us and the evenings are card games snacks and a lot of giggling

We used to stay at a caravan park at Bracklesham Bay years ago, over 60 years. Loved it, walked to the Witterings and caught the bus into Chichester. I was a teenager, then went back when my son was three and I was pregnant with second son, ideal for kids. Lovely memories.
So lovely. The thing with memories is, we often don't realise we are making them! xx

Thank you for sharing your holiday it looks wonderful and it makes a nice change to get away from home and the everyday household chores. I wondered where you were I kept looking daily for your blog now I know. You all look so relaxed 😎 and you were lucky with the weather too. It has been HOT & humid here in London it’s weird as the kids are off but the streets are empty😥possibly due to the heat again. That camping area was certainly a 5 Star facility. I’ve never seen one like this “campground”. I’d call it “Glamping”.

I may well be cooking for 26 this Christmas (I know it’s only August!) this hob could be a useful extra. It’s priced in US$ but assume it will have a UK plug and voltage 🤞. Looks as though you all had great fun. Thank you.

I love Concierge , it’s only 10 mins drive from us. We stayed in the lodge for a few days. Only down the road but it was like a real holiday. Glad that you loved it too. The traffic noise depends a lot on the wind direction. Wittering beach is lovely but very busy when it’s warm….better in winter!! Climping, Bracklesham are both lovely. Selsey is great, fisherman’s beach is fantastic for fresh crab and lobster to buy.

Good evening pioneer woman😃😂 that hob is amazing , just shows you how things have changed in the camping caravaning world, you where lucky with the weather, it makes all the difference, we have had 7 straight days rain in fort William many a time and we still went back for more punishment😃 it's so lovely to have family hoilday,A lovely video ,have a great weekend ❤❤

Yes Concierge Camping is very nice but boy they know how to charge fir the extras!
We go to a fabulous site with almoat all of those facilities and its set in beautiful gardens with loads of shrubs & fruit trees between its pitche & its considerably cheaper. You do have to shop around for these good campsites.
That really is a lot of road noise there. Glad you had good weather Hope Rob managed OK as the heat is the worst thing for heart conditions. Thats the sort of cooking we do too -air fryer slow cooker, tepanyaki, portable hob etc
No charges that I'm aware of.

So happy you had a good time in my home patch! I live in East Wittering so am lucky to enjoy the beach at Bracklesham Bay every day. Just a shout out from a resident for the steep car parking prices at West Wittering & the pre booking system -they are supposed to be a deterrent to too many cars coming down here & we’re all for that! Since 2020 & the covid years it went absolutely mad here and with only one road in & out it can be crazy when the weather is good. There are some great touring sites here locally as well (not as swish as Concierge). If you come back say hello!
The deterrent isn't working. The number of cars on the Sunday was beyond belief! Hundreds and hundreds. It must be a nightmare for locals, something we commented on, as we don't live far from a beach and if that happened there.... I dread to think.

Katie and Hattie are so alike. At first I thought Hattie had taken a rapid growth spurt since we last saw her. At the start of your video, there's a view of a lovely pointed round tower. What is it? Hi Helen , the site looks nice , we go to that area a lot & have been for many years , so I know it very well , we stay mainly on CL sites , small , the Witterings has grown so big , compared to how it was when my boys were young , I can’t say I like it now 😞. But that’s choice , Bracklesham bay is completely different ,& I really hope it stays that way .

I stayed in a hotel in Manchester with an amazing sensor mirror , I googled it ,it was a simple human one and cost £300. Unfortunately I can’t justify paying that for a vanity mirror. Looks like you had a fab holiday, the pasta looked amazing ,love your vlogs xx

Great video! Loved watching your adventure! That pasta recipe looked really good. I was thinking you could probably replace the chorizo with linguiça. You mentioned you used tomato purée. That’s probably the same thing as tomato paste I would assume.. that looked really good. Thank you for sharing your trip with us. Looking beautiful Helen!!!

I used to live at Bracklesham not far from the beach when you did'nt have to pay for car park (just around the corner from us ) and witterings was £5 and hardly anybody there.. about 1999
It's changed a lot.... the Witterings was just too busy for us xx

Liked the look of your pasta dish, do you have the recipe or is it the type of meal you just have n your head. Lovely video thanks again you brightened up a dull day here my part of Scotland.
Honestly, it's so easy, a sliced whole chorizo, 4 or 5 rasher of bacon, fried off together, then add whatever veg you are using, cook until almost soft then add, tomatoe puree or a tin of tomatoes or both, some chicken stock if needed then when it's all coming together, half a tub of cream cheese... enough for 4 to 5 people. I used a whole bag of pasta, but obviously cook enough for numbers to suit.
