A Day In Poovar Island Resort | Amazing Floating Cottage | Part 2

Hi Guys,
This island is a land of peace and great hospitality. Entering the resort, you can feel the mystical charm of the place that sprawls across luxurious landscaped lawns and gardens. The traditional look and feel at the reception and their customary welcome is an instant relief from any tiredness you might feel from the travel to the place. Happy to have chosen the floating cottages, we were excited about the experience and it turned out really nice. The floating cottages are an engineering marvel coupled with great aesthetic sense. The rooms are done in wood. The best part of the cottage remains the balcony, which opens to the lovely backwaters. Don't forget to settle there early in the morning for a cup of tea while you can catch a look at some of the fishing activities that go around during that part of the day. The cottage sways along with the waves that ripple the backwaters and is an experience of a lifetime.
The resort too is a great place to stay. They lay the most lavish buffets with culinary delights from all across the globe
The resort is where nayyar river meets its ocean. You can see the river from the hotel and can also take a boat ride to the beach. Its a very big resort with lots of greenery.
From pick up, you will be amazed by calm and soothing boat ride to hotel on the backwaters. Floating cottages and swimming pool in the island is awesome. It's a true island resort where the only medium of transport is water way.
