So you went with the 50 watt lights. Is that better then the higher wattage ones.
In my opinion, 2 50watts have more coverage than 1 100w. I'm currently running 14-50 watt 2,200k lights all on Ionic lithium batteries! I have great coverage all around my boat and absolutely quiet!
Can they compete with swampeye lights?
If swampeye was better, I wouldn’t be running 5 Stars, lol!
@@bayoubanditcharters We've got different needs. I fish red clay rivers to clear lakes and everything in between. The color changing of the swampeyes have changed my game completely. I've run everything from the cheap amazon lights to sealites, swampeyes and damn near everything in the middle. The swampeyes have by far been the best for me. But I gotta say that the lights you're running look damn good
I run them in very muddy marsh water and in clean clear gulf water, they work amazingly well in all conditions

Should you of been better off with going with straight 2200 I mean? Any advantage with the two different lighting tones?
I was doing a test to see which ones I liked best. Definitely all 2,200
Tried out that salsa today and it was awesome. Even cooked on the grill with the flounder I caught Saturday. Thanks for sharing that recipe!

I've been in the fishing industry for many years here in Alaska, for the size and weight of these lights the old Hali lights on the boat are defenitly getting new upgrades soon

Since the light install has the the 2700 transition to the 2200 on the very front of your boat helped you think with sighting?
Yes, the 2,200’s are definitely the way to go brother! Excellent for stained as well as clean water!

12v led has no place on a charter boat you will have to carry to many batteries think about going to hps 400 and 250
Lol, no thanks! I like it quite and lithium batteries are lightweight with more than enough power for my needs
