Respect the opinion about the bears situation, but where are you seeing instability in the NEW front office? They didn't draft Justin, had to tear down a terrible contract and cap mess left by the Pace regime, and start a new rebuild. Pace/Nagy were the ones who sent Justin out against Cleveland his rookie year to start his career without an oline, after spending the Trubisky years making fun but terrible long term decisions.
Poles is proving to be much more forward thinking. Yeah they got 4 picks this year, but they had 11 last year (and he turned the 5 pace left him into 10 the year before) and have a full draft except a 7th next (2 2nds and 3 6ths too). I get where you coming from but it lacks a lot of context.
Poles definitely is not at risk of losing his job next year, and I don't think Eberflus is either. Poles also set this situation up for the rookie qb as one of the best since Indy and Luck, as well as breaking the lame duck cycle the offense been in by starting the rookie this year with a new OC year 1. Up for debate if he did right for Justin at the end, but he did send him to the situation Justin wanted to go to which gotta show something. We also have no idea what Flus contract is or if he has been extended as the Bears don't release that publicly.
Most mainstream media have both had an opportunity to do a full study on any one time. He probably doesn't know that Poles didn't draft Fields and if he does he definitely does not know the salary cap situation that Poles inherited or the lack of lack of draft picks Poles inherited his first year with no 1st round pick

Steve Smith is still running around with the notion that Bryce is better processor than CJ Stroud. Stroud's game is predicated on high processing, timing and anticipation. This is proven attributes and its timeless.
This was evident when he was at Ohio st, but this was swept under the carpet as the media and talking heads crushed CJ and elevated Bryce to and almost generational prospect before the draft.
Steve's smith sr normally doesn't do QB reviews, but since he was affiliated with the panthers he did QB review last year, unfortunately he was fed the wrong information about CJ and just repeated whatever the panthers decision makers fed him.
And now to save face all of those same taling heads, analysts and media members try to diminsh CJ's game and his impact on the texans. He elevated a receiving group that nobody had heard of before the season.
Im tired of steve smiths illogical obsession of discrediting CJ just so he can feel good about his opinion of him before the draft. I will respect your view of wide receivers, please stick to that.
