That 2010 Lakers vs Celtics game 7 was probably the best defense and offense I’ve seen in a finals of the last 20 years. So much that it looked like non-calls were just tough shots and there wasn’t much of any crying to the refs.

People don't give enough credit to this Celtics team. It's always about how they got Holiday and KP. Casual fans don't realize how hard JB works on his craft, continuously becoming more physically dominant and improving his shot creation and polish his ability to drive to the basket. JT worked on his post game to add another threat to their offense, getting stronger physically, which allowed them to have him defend at the center position without getting exploited, and also allowed him to become one of if not their main rebounder. JT adapting a new role to create for others. Just to name a few. And these are the things that helped them take the #1 seed and dominate the playoffs. The sacrifice they had to make, which they recognized and addressed as soon as kp and jrue joined the team, the chemistry they had to build, the new coaching system they had to trust and buy in. All of it within the course of a season. These are the things fans and even the media don't see. This team is this good, not just because they were supposed to be good on paper, but because they did all the right things and more.

The best thing Boston did was stay consistent and grounded as an organization. They were geniuses for keeping all their coaching and front office changes in house, which led to one continuous system and message. Brad Stevens went from the sideline to upstairs, and Udoka stepped up and had a brief but successful promotion from assistant, and then the same process with Joe. This championship has been a decade in the making, and they built it the right way, drafting young talent and trusting their star potential, while consistently surrounding them with quality veterans to help further their development. Golden State laid the blueprint, and Boston found the right crew to build it 💪🏾🍀

I think Kaitlyn should’ve been put on the team so that the top players could get to know her they could bond together, and they would have a different perspective of her after being her teaming during the Olympics. I think they missed that one that opportunity because the wisdom they could teach her the tips and tricks they could teach her and then having to be her teammate for this moment put you in a situation where we have to come together as one, so she gets an up close look at some of the best players games they get to have a up close look at her game and at the end of it potentially these women can now have a unity that would then spread across the league. Kaitlyn will still be tested and she plays in in the WNBA, but now she’s not just a newcomer that we don’t know she becomes potentially an Olympic champion who has the respect and understanding of the other top players and it pushes the game forward

Aside from growing the game on a national and international level, I agree with KG that it's about a community and a fraternity (in this case sorority). It's about passing knowledge on to the next wave. Caitlyn, Angel and Juju should of all made the team. They don't even have to play full game, keep em on the bench. It will sell more tickets regardless. The W is not thinking about financial potential or increasing global market share by having these players on the team. It's truly a case of the old having a hard time accepting the new. You got to adjust. A free flow of knowledge just increases the overall competitiveness of the league which results in more hype and more ticket sales. KG always been a real one.
