Not sure why the fivb commentator is always a guy that clearly has no idea about the sport, happy to hear Dain’s input though. It would be nice if both commentators had knowledge of the sport. Any fan listening can tell the guy has no idea what’s going on.
Very true. I kind of respect how much confidence he has in what he says even though he himself has to be aware of the fact that it can be very wrong. Like how he calls the set from Anders Mol fairly late in set one a beautiful set when in reality it was a set that put Sørum in a really compromised position and forced him to to do some wizardry to win the point. Kinda funny.
At some point they should have stopped serving Sorum I guess. Obviously no success story... Not that the alternative promises better chances, just saying.
Its not by purpose. Dane is an AVP commentator he knows more the American players than other countries. At least its good commentary here in beach. Indoor is terrible!!! No energy, no analysis literally boring. I rather listen to portugese or Italian that i don't know than the English

I really dislike how FIVB is an international organization and yet, the commentators are very biased on behalf of team US
They will usually very slightly act biased to the underdog, specially against top duos like Mol/Sorum, just a human instinct
