Invaluable info on porcelain panel fabrication. A lot of data here cannot be found anywhere else on RUclips. It was really nice to see the "how to" explanations behind actions we can see you do from your other videos. Really appreciate you taking the time to post these.
@@Mrtruthfinder2011 the earliest available full day training in PNW will take place on December 14th at Daltile in Seattle, WA. I would highly recommend you to go there. The training will be done by the National Tile Contractors Association, that I am also a member of, and is one of the best of such kind. Follow the link in the next comment to register. Available spots are limited so if you decide to go, it would be better to register asap
Thanks for the info. What are your thoughts on cutting 8mm Dekton slabs on a bridge saw like it were a typical 2cm slab? Is it possible or should it only be scored and snapped like this? Also what about cutting on a water jet? Thanks
Pete, you can successfully cut 8 mm Dekton with both a water jet and a bridge saw. For the bridge saw, you will need to consult with Cosentino on what blades they recommend and what speed of cutting
Thank you! I am wondering if you could tell me who the tile contractors were in Idaho that came to the training, I am based out of Boise and wouldn't mind chatting with them about it
Couldn't make glueing the edge any harder and slower if you tried. Half a dozen strips of tape hanging vertically off the top, connect the strip, flick the strip over, glue, flip strip over and put a square on it. Done.
@@TileProUSA Try "Integra Adhesives Zero" (life changing)... comes in 250 ml color matched cartidges and self mixes the glue and hardener as you squeeze it out from the gun. Much easier, similar like caulking to apply. I just tape my miters (henge style). Never any gaps and invisible seam every time. *Also "ceramic razor blades", they will not change the color of the epoxy when scraping like metal ones can.👍
