No. Kami didn't kill Chiaotzu. Evil king Piccolo killed Chiaotzu. Kami is his other half. Piccolo from this series is actually King Piccolo's son that he spat out as an egg shortly before dying to the hole Goku left in his chest.
@@WD_GASTER_ Jr is technically the reincarnation of his father as Piccolo put everything he had left into his final child as he was dying, which is why he inherited OG Piccolo's wish to be eternally in his prime of youth and was able to maintain the soul-bond for Kami. However because he's also a new person, he isn't pure evil like his father was (who never had a chance to be anything else due to how the Fission worked), he merely has his memories, which made him very jaded and egotistical, as Piccolo had conquered the whole world in a few weeks of being freed from his imprisonment and Jr considered it his birthright to rule over it as well.
The current Piccolo is the “son” of King Piccolo, the evil side of Kami who after getting separated from him, went down to earth and wreaked havoc all over the place. After gathering the dragon balls and asking shenron for eternal youth (and killing Chiaotzu, Krillin and Master Roshi in the process) he proclaimed himself king of earth. Goku almost died during their first encounter, but after training with Korin and unlocking his hidden power, Goku defeated King Piccolo, but before dying, he expelled an egg from his body containing all his memories. The new Piccolo was born, but had no intentions of following his father’s footsteps and all he wanted was to best Goku in combat. Goku and Piccolo “Jr” met at the finals of the martial arts tournament, and after a brutal fight, Goku also defeated him. After recovering, Piccolo decided to retreat to the mountains to live in peace and train for his next encounter with Goku. That’s when DBZ starts
It should be noted that, while cell is indeed strong, a lot of the Z fighters could absolutely destroy him as he is. If he went 2 Vs 1 against any of them he wouldn’t win, and he definitely can’t fight piccolo alone. Though, a nice tidbit is that eating people makes him ever so slightly stronger. Dumno if you two saw but Gero wrote notes on that paper with 17 and 18s names on it. "Seriously who names their kids after crystals? Did they want them to become stippers?" Or something to that effect
That was quite funny indeed. The rock that they are named after is just one rock- lapis lazuli. Each android (17 & 18) has one part of that name since they are twins. It's clever, if you ask me, and its part of the trope that Toriyama has with names in this series. The Saiyans have vegetable names, bulma's family have clothing names, chi-chi's family (milk in the original) have dairy names, you get the point..
I am super jazzed to see you get into Hellsing Abridged. When they started it they'd already had experience making this and it makes a huge difference, amazing series. Just gotta be careful about some sections with the copyright overlords about.
even non-abridged the dragonball z movies are kinda like that, a snapshot of whatever the characters's powers etc. were at the time and supposed to be a "see your favs in a *What If?...* style setting with a BUDGET" but TFS tried to link them in to the canon so we get this funky order
Cell´s line B*TCH, I DO WHAT I WANT! is the closest to Takahata101 voicing Alucard from TFS Hellsing. Until later transformation. So an appetizer for Matt how he sounds like.
@@silentassason I mean Kami and the original King Piccolo were presented as Earth's God and Devil respectively in DragonBall. They were initially one being that split into two. Most of the way through DB, Goku kills Piccolo, but he spits an egg out that shoots off into the distance just before death. The egg hatches the Piccolo we know today, who a few years later at a tournament fights Goku and loses, ending DB. Kami/Piccolo's origins are then retconned in DBZ, making them an alien being that came to earth, split in two, and decided to be it's guardian. This leads to plot holes and inconsistencies that you have to ignore.

Vegeta? A good guy? Nah. He's still evil. Just, less evil. Vegeta never *fully* turns good. He just focused on what he wants. He's pretty much neutral evil at this point in his life, and even at his best, he settles into being chaotic neutral.
@@Pink.andahalf He's an odd case of being an anti-hero. He does heroic things, but it's not why he fights. It just so happens that such enemies are usually evil, and defeating them means he saves lives. Aside from the Namekians, his family, and Kakarot, he probably doesn't care about those who benefit from him having a hand in saving the day (let's be honest, Vegeta isn't gonna be the one to defeat the bad guy, because he's the TNG era Worf of Dragon Ball, and his primary purpose is to be strong enough to show that the current enemy is a threat, and this is done by Vegeta getting his 💩 pushed in by the enemy's foot).

Cell definitely sounded like Cartman when talking to the city
Oh em jee I literally was about to post this hahaha
Fun fact his main inspiration aside from Cartman was teen girl squad from Strong Bad
Killing me softly is NOT Aretha Franklin, its from Lori Leiberman 1972, Roberta Flack redid it in 1973, which is the version Lauren hill did.

Vegeta's face turn was long term storytelling.
They do have a Halloween special called Celloween it connected to 45

Killing me softly was originally recorded by Roberta Flack in 1973.
Kami is not Piccolo's dad, Piccolo is Piccolo's dad
It's best not to pull this thread, it unravels quickly.

@@Luciphell sounds reasonable to me. Don't really see plot holes since that seems to he how the universe the story is in works
@@Luciphell There's literally no plot holes, being God or Devil are just roles in their cases, the alien origin don't affect that.
Starting to think tossing random species into Cell's genetics wasn't great for his mental health.
