Beautiful edition of Dracula!! I love that cover! I read that so long ago - in university as part of my degree, actually! I barely remember any details now and feel I will re-read it at some point. Also love your hair like that! I love it curly, too though!
Thanks! I love it so much! I read it 2 or 3 years ago and will probably read it again this year! And thanks! I don't straighten it too often because it's bad for the curls. But it's fun to switch it up sometimes
@@WhytheBookWins my own hair is curly/frizzy/wavy depending on the weather and what conditioner I use 😆. Mostly it's frizzy so I straighten it, 😂
Oh man, im in love with that Dracula edition! Hair looks great too! I l really like Chitlern press, and every once in a while there's a diamond in the rough that is wordsworth.
Thanks I'm so happy to own it! And I've looked into chiltlern press and will likely add some of those to my collection soon!
Stunning! 👏🏻👏🏻
Nice collection! I agree with your gripe about BIG books!!! I recently received Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens (Folio Society) and 20 Years of Dilbert and both are not only cumbersome to read, but can't fit on my bookshelf. I wish publishers prioritized readability first. It's my fault of course for not checking the dimensions first. Oh and I definitely prefer Folio Society over Easton and others.
Right?? It's so annoying haha.
Vicariously living through your collection haha someday I'll get some Folio Society books they make such pretty books
Thanks! They are such gorgeous books!
Comments like this are what help me justify spending more money on them lol. I'm saving up to buy a couple more folio books, so sometime in March or April I'll have a second folio video!
@@WhytheBookWins Haha yaaaaas I really want the current LotR editions someday the green ones, with the red hobbit and blue silmarillion. They will be mine....eventually
@@RodgersReads haha nice! I saw a copy of them on ebay I was eyeing. I've actually never read the second two books though so I'm hesitant to buy them. But I probably will buy them even if I don't get around to reading them any time soon cause, come on, it's lord of the rings! Lol
@@WhytheBookWins haha yaaaass. I’m just waiting to graduate grad school and have a real job then I can afford some fancier books 🤣 that Dracula you have is really cool too but I already have 3 copies of Dracula and I think my hubby would judge me for getting a 4th lmao
I just bought books from their website and yes it was 40$ shipping and that is very high! So I did exactly what you said and bough a few books so it might be a trick to get us to buy more!
That's what I plan to do in thy future! Spend money to save money lo
@@WhytheBookWins See it works they got us lol!
@@WhytheBookWins May I ask what you think of Barnes and noble classic leatherbound? I am not sure to buy Arabian Night at folio for 99$ or the Barnes and noble at 69$ what do you think?
@@erickus36 those are definitely beautiful! I will probably buy some editions at some point, but I personally love Folio Society the most at the moment
How many books did you order and what was the shipping cost? Does the shipping price go down when you order more books?
I love the deluxe editions from Easton Press in classic hardbound leather with gold tips. But I also love the books from Folio Society, because the illustrations are just so detailed and intricate at times. Personally, and perhaps this sounds cringe, I am very big on illustrations.
That's not cringe at all! The illustrations are a huge reason why I love Folio and Easton Press deluxe!
I like your videos. I prefer Folio society over easton press as well.
Thank you! I have some books coming in the mail that I'm super excited about and will be showing them in a video in a week or two! (One of them is a folio society edition that is hard to come by! 😁)
Where else can you buy foliosociety other then website?
I've used ebay to buy a lot
👌
What’s a reasonable price to pay for that edition of Count of Monte Cristo?
I got lucky and found mine for $50. However I think it is worth paying $150 for, maybe even $200. But if you find it for sale in the $100 range that would be a good find.
@@WhytheBookWins very helpful, thank you!
