Your cardigan looks so beautiful on you Marie! And those are some pretty spectacular button bands! 😍 LOVE your single-sock idea--I can only imagine how absolutely thrilled your grandkids would be to open up such a present 🤗💕
Marie, both your sweater and cardigan are looking fabulous! I love the impeccable execution! You are so very grounded and real, its a pleasure to watch you... I joined the ravelry group 😊

Just inspiring! 🥰🥰💖💖
You totally should cast on that cardigan! I figured the MAL would be fun!! I just love all the interaction with everyone! Thanks for watching girl, appreciate you!
Marie! That cardigan is beautiful!! You’ve inspired me to think about starting one!! I also love the single sock idea!! Great visit! Thank you for making your pod!
Thank you for sharing another great podcast with us! Your cardigan is lovely! I love seeing how excited you are about it, and I bet it will get so much use! Your single sock idea is genius!! I have twin toddlers, and lots of self striping scraps… I know what I’m going to do with them now! Your yarn monster is precious!! Happy knitting 🙂
Hi Marie! What a great episode! I was so happy to hear your experience with your new cardigan, as I've purchased the pattern, too, and looking forward to making it. Fantastic job on the buttonbands 🎉 The gifts from your granddaughter really made me smile ❤ And finally thank you for sharing the last two bits of information, the non-knitting podcast and makeup site, I'm going to check those out! Have a great weekend
You should be so proud as your cardigan literally turned out perfectly and it looks awesome on you.😍 your colour work sweater turned out beautiful as well, and your becoming such a pro at it!
I’m working on the same cardigan. I really like the pattern. I love that you shared your granddaughter’s presents. I don’t knit socks but love the idea for your knit along.
OHHHH!!!! Love the new gifts you received from your Grandbabies!!! You are the special grammy! What do they call you Grammy, Nana etc? Meemaw is common here in SC. Brilliant on the single socks. I'll try!
Thank you for your video. I'm making the Corran for my grand daughter and your insight to the process is really helpful. I've joined your MAL, and am looking forward to your next posting. Take care.
I just watched "Cozy Meadow Knits" and she mentioned you on her podcast about the Corran cardigan. I can relate to the single sock syndrome. My daughter is now 31 and she always wore different socks. That's nothing new to me but that is actually a great idea for a kal and to do something witih leftover yarn. I thoroughly enjoyed your podcast. Thank you for sharing.
Welcome to my world of knitting! Sophie is such a doll! Yay for the single socks! I figured I might as well! Thanks so much for joining me on my channel!
Hi Marie, Your Corran is beautiful & that pattern is so versatile! Thanks for sharing your grandchildren's crafts---so precious. I may join your single sock along. I'm expecting my first grandchild in September and wonder if maybe my daughter would appreciate a bunch of single baby socks. I saw a really nice pattern for Baby Tube Socks-a free pattern on Ravelry. I have recently added a few products to my skincare regime & love the results.I have mature (63) skin and tried Ursa Major Vitamin C serum and LOVE it. It moisturizes and brightens my skin and I have even noticed diminished age (sun) spots. They are based in Vermont and I saw the ad on Instagram. They also included a sample of the face wash which smells amazing (cedar & spearmint) and is very gentle. I'm on my second order and am still very impressed with their products. Happy knitting!
Cindy, Thank you for the skincare recommendations, it is what I was hoping for. I am going to try their facewash first I think. I love the idea of a basket of single baby socks...I'll bet your daughter would appreciate it for sure! Also there is a terrific pattern on ravelry called Perfect Newborn Socks which I have made several pairs and they stay on really good. Happy Knitting & thanks for watching!
I look forward to your videos so very much. Your recommendation for the Junction Fiber Mill videos was right on. I binge watched all their videos. I plan on joining your knit along, too. One sock for my husband is just about finished and I can use some inspiration to get started on the other one.
Marie, your Corran is gorgeous! I've got the pattern and am going to knit one too. I have the same issue with button bands, so I may try to incorporate the button band in the lace, but if I don't, I'll check out the tutorial you mentioned. Are you anywhere near the Junction Fiber Mill in Vermont? They have a wonderful "Millcast" about creating yarn from local sheep, including their own. They have an open house on Friday afternoons, and if I were closer (I'm in Oregon!) I would go.
You are a part of wardrobe toolbox? I haven't had too much of a chance as of late to be over there. Yes to the socks, that is exactly why I started the MAL to use up yarn! Thanks for joining me here!
@oldethymeknits yes i love all the amazing skills i have learned, i have been a member since the start, i don't spend much time on facebook but love all the video tuition
@@jo-annefalconer6280 I learned so much in the first few seasons, I just rejoined this season, but seems I don't have much time right now for it. It is truly awesome though! How'd you find me??
Your cardigan looks amazing!! It blocked out beautifully and you absolutely should be proud of those button bands because they look great! As for the makeup / skin care, Clinique has great collections for both. The makeup is pretty, but natural looking which I like; so if you're looking to slowly ease into doing something more that night be a nice route. And they have skin products for every skin concern under the sun. I can totally dm you on Instagram if you want to know more, I've recommended it to so many people. And so close to 1,000 subscribers! That's so exciting!!
