Thank you so much. This is exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you very much for this video! Great help
Thank you! Very helpful!
Perfect thanks.
Sound not great but put it at full volume. Well explained. Thank you very much.
You look very like Brad Pitt. Bet you wish you had his money!
Sounds like you're getting fresh
thank you very much!
What is the occasional buzzing sound
At this location, the outside A/C compressor kept turning on at random times. It always fun recording outside because of the noises, neighbors, wind noise, etc. - Mike
My motion sensor only has 3 wires...where did you get that LAST wire from???
With this motion sensor, the red wire goes to the two black floodlight wires, then the black motion sensor wire goes to the black wire coming from the house- then white to white, green to ground(bare copper) wires. You may not have a red wire, so it would be each color to each color, or whatever the motion sensor light mentions in the wiring section. Good luck!- Mike.
I couldn't hear either
Can I turn the lights on without being triggered by motion? Like if we want leave them on for the night....
If the motion sensor has an override switch or override setting, than it would be possible to turn it on overnight and then put it back to the auto setting for motion senseing when needed. Just depends if there are extra settings on the motion sensor. Good luck!- Mike
This is not a bad idea! But unfortunately that part ($20 bucks at Lowe’s!!) cost just as much as a whole cheap motion sensor flood light!!!!!!
I can buy a whole new one for $14-29 bucks!
Some cost way more!!! So adding this part to the expensive ones would be a gd alternative 👍🏽👌
Get a parking lot flood light 👍🏼
Step 1: Have worst microphone ever along with loud background noise
Step 2: Mumble quietly at the wall
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit
Do you have a wiring diagram on how to install this?
The wiring instructions should be in with the motion sensor or light that you bought. The green goes to the ground (bare copper wire). The black wire goes to black. The red wire goes to red. The black wires coming off the lights go to the red wire from the motion sensor. Good luck! -Mike
@@mikesdoityourself Ohhhh ok, thank you! :D
thanks
What brand was the motion sensor?
I believe it was Defiant - a brand that is carried at Home Depot- good luck with your project! - Mike.
Where did you buy that motion sensor?
Home Depot is where it was purchased but Lowe's may have one or online. This was a few years ago so their stock may have changed. Good luck with your project! - Mike
@@mikesdoityourself thanks for the info
Explain
THE DOG SAY IS WRONG H........
Cannot hear what you are saying
Can't hear ya to much back ground noise
The real question is. Did it work? I didn't see it.
Yes, it worked after everything was hooked up. - Mike
Rubbish sounds terrible
Colour coding of conductors differs from country to country. In Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan and South Africa, the Neutral conductor is Black, but in USA and Canada, Black conductor is live. The maker of this crappy video didn't even have the courtesy to show viewers whether the motion sensor actually worked.
Speak no instruction, see no instruction, hear no instruction.!!!!!
audio sucks and the dog doe's not help . does the motion censor have a photo cell ? are you a licensed electrician ?
David Bodin are you a licensed bitch?
