I'll be honest, I never liked Charlie's redesign. The more rounded design she had back in the pilot fit her character more. Her newer design just blends in with the other characters.
I never understood it o be honest, everyone main complaint of the pilot was that there was way too much red. Why make her entire outfit JUST red afterwards?
I don't know any of the VAs who'll be cast in this show--except for one. Captain Anderson in Mass Effect, Goliath in one of my favorite animated shows ever (Gargoyles), my main man Keith David. I'm really enthusiastic to see what he does with the character of Husker, just like you said. :) As to the designs, I lack the well-trained eye of a professional so all I can say is that they didn't make enough changes to the designs for them to stand out to a normie like myself. There's also the benefit of distance in time: it's been months since I saw the pilot so the only way I could spot the differences would be something side-by-side and really, that's a lot of effort to go to if someone's not paying me for my time. I'm so happy to see this coming out that design changes are on the low end of the importance scale.
I don't know how I feel about the redesigns to be honest. Some stay the same but the ones that changed a good amount I feel mixed. I like Charlie's design feels like a upgrade at the same time she does fade into the background because of her suit being the same color just about. Angel dust gloves being two different sets makes sense yet I don't like it as much as I wanted? Also I don't want my view on the redesigns to be determined on what they have on too because what happens if they change outfits? VA of Alastor feels so off and I can't describe it. It's not like I hate it but it just doesn't fit?? I really hope this series go well overall because I been waiting since I was still in high school
