    Pathways to Permanent Residency in Canada come and go like a revolving door:
    70’s-80’s: immediate family sponsorship included nieces / nephews - now restricted
    90’s: Nannies and caregivers - now restricted
    Now: International Student Pathways: now restricted
    All in all, Canada will always close pathways as the needed workforce is achieved or reaches threshold of population limit but will always open with evolving requirements. I’d say hang in there. There will always be a way because when one door closes, another one opens.

    maganda talaga ang pathway ng hccp and hsw. may pathway to pr once na nareached mo yung 2yrs experience (before), ngaun naman sa gaining 1 yr na lang ang required. And mas nakakaipon kase free ang food and accomodation. then once na nareceived na ang pr, pwede ka makipagdeal sa employers sa salary. Dito sa Toronto, you can ask 25-30⬆️. Kaya mas advisable to use the caregiver pathwya,instead of choosing the student path. cheaper and may guaranteed na pr if mapasa lahat ang requirements, eca, language exam and 2yrs or now 1 yr canadian work experience for childcare and hsw.

    Mas maigi kung bibisitahin niyo ang Canada official website at tingnan kung totoo ba na tatanggalin na nila ang caregiver pathway, future niyo ang nakasalalay dito komunsulta kayo sa mga immigration lawyers kung may problema kayo sa inyong mga papeles, may mga lope hole sa batas na mga lawyers lang ang nakakaalam bakit ba kasi pakukuhanin pa kayo ng exam kung nagka intindihannaman kayo ng amo niyo sa loob ng 5 to 7 yrs, di ba? 1 yr lang ang actual experience ang kailangan pero kung tourist visa iyan dapat mag exam

    I think the resource person doesn't know what she is talking. You dont need to pass again the initial requirements like ielts medical you've completed that. The only requirement to become p.r is to gain 1 year work experience as caregiver.

      @benjie.the.great266 6 месяцев назад +1

      You will be surprised that she is correct about this. You are right about that requirements before 2010 after the passing of Juana Tejada law. I came here thru that pathway around 2007 at the peak of this program that there are noise about abuse. Nung araw LMO ang kailangan. Ngayon pinahigpit na thru LMIA.

      Ang concern kasi ng iba, ung mga andito na sa Canada prior June 2019 na pumasok as caregiver through the old program with LMIA. Pagka open ng Pilot program syempre they want to take that pathway for easier PR kaso nagkakaissue na sa work permit, walang ielts nung time na nag apply cla, walang eca, kaya hnahabol nila un aside sa years of caregiver experience Nila.. that is, as far as I noticed sa mga inside applicants ha. Going back 2020 we had pandemic so there was delay in completing requirements due to lockdown.

    Para sa akin yang English exam is a way of the government to earn revenue from immigrant.There's no such failed grade on it,unless you didnt take the exams.The government will demand you that you should be on this rank ex..rank 4 or 5 on all areas,so you must meet it or else you wouldnt be qualified.Sa totoo lang Canada government makes its harder for immigrants to become PR.😊

      The English exam - one of them is IELTS exam - it’s a crucial requirement, especially since English is the predominant language in most Canadian provinces, excluding Quebec. As immigrants from various parts of the world, it's essential for us to comprehend and communicate effectively in English. It's worth noting that while we don't directly pay the Canadian government for the English exam, we do pay the exam fee to British Columbia, the entity responsible for organizing the IELTS. Who is recognized in most countries when applying for Work or Study permit- before becoming Permanent Resident.
