I came here too after watching the BBC series 'Trigonometry'. Did not know the title of the song or who sang but after lots of digging and perseverance I found. What a song..its on repeat♥️♥️♥️
I’m listening to I😍Radio and I’m hearing it for the first time. I’m a relatively new fan of this band and Charles Bradley. So I’m also just now hearing about this show. I’m an ostrich, where the hell have I been that I’ve never heard of this before?
That’s what caught my ear when I first heard this song a couple of years ago. That old school sound and I had never heard of Lee fields. I thought it was some seventies soul music that got by me back then somehow. I love his sound!
This song hit home with me this weekend. Came upon it by accident, I guess the Lord wanted me to hear it. Sealed what I have been feeling about someone very special in my life. Thank you Mr. Fields for an impressionable song.
That intro damn near almost brought me to tears and the meaning behind this song was the nail that drove into a deep sea of emotion to this casket that I call life. Well done Mr.Fields & the expressions 👏😿
The three singles that he takes at 3:11 Intensive Heat - Keep an eye on your close friend Brothers of soul - hurry dont linger Robert Vanderbilt - A Message Especially From God ❤❤😊
I found Lee fields 4 years ago, and he never disappoints! Artists like him are few and far! If you love him like i do, then i recommend that you listen to someone who sings much like Mr.Lee fields, mr."Charles Bradley" he recently passed away.....may he rest in peace...❤
@@deeblack2487 Yes it still hurts my heart, he really was one of my favorites i made a comment that now has almost 2k likes i can't listen to his songs without crying, it was like loosing a family member.may he rest in eternal peace.
I'm with the rest of you. I heard it slightly on radio the other day but I said I'm listen to it for real soon. So tonight I just heard it all the way. I AM A NEW FAN OF LEE FIELDS!! GREAT SOULFUL/JAZZ FEELING IN THIS CUT
THIS IS GREAT MUSIC! I am profoundly glad that there are musicians and record labels and listeners who APPRECIATE and are actively reviving this genre of music. I call it "souldies" style, or old-school R & B, but whatever you call it, it's soulful, it touches the heart, it makes my body want to move and sway in a special way. Keep on!
I've been a Lee Fields fan since My World. I heard an interview with Lee Fields today on the release of this album and I love him even more! His words on Soul music were on the spot. Some people don't get it... their loss. Soul music is my Country music! I can't help but hear a little Bobby Womack here. That's a good thing! Interesting sidebar here. Lee said he was the lead vocalist for Kool & The Gang for 6 months back in the day but he never recorded with them. Man I'd love to have heard that.
was listening to Charles Bradley and asking myself how did the world miss such a great man. Then I came across Lee Fields, and going to make sure to see him play. World is sleepin on GREAT ONES
I'd really like to hear him cover Summer breeze, I think he'd do it beautifully! This song is absolutely beautiful! I can't help but cry when I hear it. You can have all the money in the world but it'll never amount to an ounce of love, Love is real and It feels so good!
I'd love to see a breakdown of the recording techniques used for this song. I mean it sounds really authentic to the old school Motown on the late 60s. Great stuff.
I’m all about Lee Fields. But if that’s Nick Movshon on that T H I C C bass, then I’m all about this 101% Lee Fields and BCR = Glorious Harmony (Love the subtle Easter egg of El Oms in here ;-) btw)
