- We debate whether the present political scenario or the conditions in the country are bad enough to witness a repeat of the Emergency era of the 70s in India. Senior BJP leader LK Advani, in an interview said that he thinks that 'forces' that can crush democracy are 'stronger'. He added that he is not confident that the state of Emergency won't happen again. (Audio in Hindi)

In December, 1978 Janta Party government introduced 44th Amendment to the Constitution under which it was made too hard to imply emergency in country. Only in internal armed conflict it will be allowed to impose emergency and the maximum time length can't be more than three years.

Ravish Kumars bringing the condition of SC/ST in between talks of emergency is not suitable. He seems to be biased. Technology has developed to such a stage that all things cannot be centered at one stage or one man. But BJP will have to centre everything to one man Mr. Modi because total opposition is attacking Narendra Modi only. Modi will have to answer the same if he has to win next election. You can watch all talks or all opposition speeches it is all about Modi. Even if some talks are about Hinduism or Ram Mandir opposition will comment keeping Modi in centre. In whole day it is not possible for Modi ji to come across what Ravish Kumar has spoken or Purshottam Agarwal has spoken. If things come in to his notice remedial measures shall be taken. Politics is such a complicated thing that big leaders like Advani Ji or Yashwant Sinha knows that very well. BJP is in power solely on account of Narendra Modi Ji's effort,dedication and commitment. No doubt Advani Ji or Yashwant Sinha and other leaders played their role in it but these leaders when things were solely in their hands could not bring BJP in power. Now by alarming that things are as if situation of emergency seems imminent who stops them not to assist BJP so that such a situation does not arises and things and condition improve to the extent what they dreamed about. They do have there friends,colleagues and followers in BJP as well as in country by means of which their voice can be heard by Modi or they themself can reach to Narendra Modi. By turning face towards other side will not help. They can be another Sardar Patel for BJP. If BJP has to prove its importance in public it will have to come in power once again. Ravish Kumar Ji judiciary is not so clean that we go on blaming BJP. however along with other aberrations judiciary has proved its importance whenever time called for it.
