  • In this week’s video I am sharing another SketchUp Quick Tips video.
This time I am showing you how to paint walls in SketchUp using specific colours from large paint retailers and suppliers (e.g. Dulux, Resene, Taubmans).

    If we haven't met, I'm Clare! 👋🏻
😄 I’m a designer, educator and Mum of 3 boys.
🤓 I have a PhD in business but left the corporate world nearly 10 years ago to pursue my dreams of starting my own interior design business.
👩🏻‍🎓 I worked as a designer with clients 1:1 for about 6 years but started to get more and more questions about how I was running my business and creating my designs.
🚀 So I started creating online courses that would allow me to support other designers and architects who wanted to start, grow and scale their own interior profitable businesses.
🤑 And in 10 years I've gone from working for free for a few friends to creating a multi-million dollar a year business that now makes money while I sleep.
🏃‍♂️ I'm also a very normal (busy) Mum :) - if I can do it you can do it too!
☕️ I have taken a long and winding road to get to where I am today - my aim is to share helpful stuff so you can get there faster than I did!
    Great to have you! 😀

regardless of RGB values... you would be very brave to decide on colours based on what you see on your computer screen....

Yes I do agree with you on that Gary! But I get lots of requests from students in my course about how to apply the paint colours they are choosing for their clients in to their SketchUp models - so this is why I put this post together. :)

It's a virtual sample before the real paint sample Id say

How do we paint 2 colours in a single wall? do we need to split them with lines and then paint them (hiding the lines?)
    Thanks

Yes that's exactly how I would do that.
