Venetian has done well in its second floor space. It is pretty convenient if you drive there and park in the parking lot. PH used to have the wildest, fishiest, drunken games. If you played at night, you could do really well really fast.
I wish Circa would consider opening a poker room. That would be cool. They've got the space to do it. It's an upscale property so their guests have disposal income. They have "Garage Majal" so there's parking for locals and downtown could really use a second option for poker.
Rice, Cat Woman here! Thank you for looking out for the felines. Were you able to give that cat some sardines? I hope PH brings back the Phamous series. My husband and I really enjoyed it. Hope to see you again this summer at the Orleans/PH if you deal it. This time, we have to get a pic. Stay safe.
My wife heard that Caesars is bringing back the poker room and putting it near the food court. I assume it is the area that is currently filled with video poker. I really didn't think they would bring it back given how small the casino floor is, but it sounds like it is happening.
I liked it being near the sports book, nice to take a quick break to see what games might be going on. Near the food court wouldn't be bad either for convenience.
That hotel room is identical to rooms I’ve had at Harrah’s Joliet…although you just said you weren’t going to the Great Lakes area…another Harrah’s perhaps?
I meant I wasn't driving due north, and winding up literally in Lake Erie. And of course not driving east and going back either. Interesting observation.
I used to have a picture of one of PH's poker tables. The one closest to a blackjack table. They were about 3 feet apart. And blackjack allowed smoking lol. -- I think all casinos will be nonsmoking soon enough. You'll need to go outside to a patio.
I was so disappointed when you told me a few months ago that PH no longer had a poker room. I had already booked our room there for a week in March this year and I know it's on me for not checking first but I just assumed PH would have a poker room still. Fingers crossed they bring it back because I remember it being there back in the day and I had a lot of fun playing cash games at that casino. Please keep us posted. Appreciate it.
Just got back from a trip to Vegas and played mostly at horseshoe. Everyone was talking about PH opening a room so it's starting to seem likely. The other big rumor was diamond plus drinks going away completely starting in February. Also of note the 10x event seemed to apply to poker this time. I ended up with a ton of tier credits that I did not expect after activating the offer just in case.
PH downstairs had all types of foot traffic, not just slots traffic. But poker and slots upstairs would be way better than just poker. People would hear the second floor has more gaming, go up, and see what's there. Poker and nothing else would be weak.
Good intel! Btw, there are a lot of positive reviews on PA about the new Venetian second-floor room. I doubt you are headed south to Cherokee and the Smokies ... so Go West Young Man! 🤠
@@whitesox2001 If you ask Rice,he will tell you all about how he plays tons and tons of hours. Just not for the past couple of years=record low amount of hours.
Considering that you almost arent playing poker anymore at any reasonable rate,is this channel now strictly about Nomad lifestyle and garbage food from gas stations?
@VegasPokerNomad Gonna tell you a secret, but dont tell anybody. Nobody besides you care about grammar details in youtubecomments, can you grasp that reality? Let med suggest this: do a massive volume challenge for a couple of months when you get to Vegas. Lets say 500 hours in 2-3 months time. Show the channel viewers that you can still beat the games, and stop dreaming about hands played in 2016 (lol).
Rice, your content the past week has been top-notch. Keep it up!
we need a wrong/negative comment video
Thanks
Imperial Palace (you may call it The Linq) used to have an incredible $3-$6 mixed game back in the day
Heard about it. Never saw it as that besides pictures.

Excellent video and info, love the Phamous series too around the WSOP
Another room and another mtt series would be great.

I go to Circa once a year and yes I completely agree with you.

Awesome. I won't ruin the details. But you will love the final minute of Monday's video.
@@VegasPokerNomad can't wait!
What about the new hard rock???
Get a report on if they are getting a new room when then come to town

That's not too different from where it was and there's a lot of traffic near the food court. That'd be nice.

The game is afoot! 🕵🏻♂
The problem with the middle of the casino is smoke. I would rather have a worse game than shorten my life expectancy from second hand smoke.

News flash, it’s been closed for several years.
@@whitesox2001 newsflash, not everyone lives in America and/ or follows the goings on in Las Vegas on a daily basis lol, weird.
@@RushNZ Another news flash, anybody who plays poker a little bit and goes to Vegas once in a while knows about it.
Big news!
A new poker room would be great for the strip.
Fingers crossed it’s true.

not many people just go to poker room and just randomly sit down coming from slots just like I dont gonto craps tables etc even though i walk by

Also Sahara's Poker is now closed. Will you be in Vegas this April?
Yeah, closed in November. -- Likely for parts of April.
@@VegasPokerNomad I hope to run into you again at the Horseshoe. I will be Vegas Apr 6-16.
I’d argue Venetian is the best poker room in Vegas now. More centrally located then Wynn, nicer than Aria, more action than bellagio
I thought the path to get there was too cumbersome. Not everyone parks in the Palazzo garage and has the easy elevator ride. But glad it's booming.
@@VegasPokerNomad The Palazzo garage way is the only way to go...otherwise it is horribly bothersome to get there.
