One thing i really love bout Joker's character is that it's character isnt bound by characteristics. Everyone can have their own version of joker, their own psychotic thoughts can be put out as a character. Some people will say it holds true for masked superheroes too and upto some extent it does... But truly ask urself if u made urself Batman, wouldnt u still have certain characterstics like a raspy voice, black Batman suit, protector of the night in arkham, the superhero who doesn't kill. While the only characterstics that hold true for joker are he's a psychopath with white face, big smile and laughs a lot.
Aren't you contradicting ur own thoughts ( almost felt like watching abbas Mastan) first u say he isn't bound next you say he is this and this ?

It appears they will create more depth to Joker’s personality and instead introduce a new Harley Quinn
DC has a small problem in my mind. As they make movies with Joker Harley Quinn, and new Batman they still have the other movies in the alternate universe (Wonder Woman, Flash, Suicide Squad with the other Harley Quinn, the Justice League)
Maybe they will they will do a Crisis on Infininte Earths scenario and merge them together or perhaps use the Flash movie to be the explanation for why the batman has changed and exists with the Gal Gadot Wonder Woman.
It may be risky to do this.
DC has not been good at creating a consistent universe and they cant deem to get their sh1t together to work it out.
