Hello man, Thank you very much !!! YOU are incredible, I feel how much you love what you share and you do it so fine. It's a good day, thanks to you. I am so excited for the next ones. Thanks and keep teaching us.
Hello and thank you very much for this comprehensive tutorial. I still have a question due to the fact I cannot connect from my local browser(from the physical host) to the esxi. ( i can connect / reach instead from any other virtual machine on my workstation. So, can you please explain short if you configured static route (and wich one) on your local host. Thank you and have a nice day!
You’re very welcome and I’m glad you find this tutorial helpful. If you can send me a message with a screenshot I’m sure we can figure it out. if you want to configure a static route on your local machine you can do that. Depending on what operating system you’re using. And hopefully that’s helpful but reach out to me and we can try to get this figured out. You’re very welcome and have a beautiful day.
How do I access internet, if I have it setup like that? I cannot seem to connect to the outside world through a VM that I built in Vsphere. Also, is Vcenter needed for this ? Thank you. Great and easy tutorials.
Hi! Thank you for the comprehensive walk-through. However, I can't fully understand if the OS installed on the ESXi host would have access to the physical hardware, such as GPUs, for example. I'm mostly interested in Nvidia TITAN RTX. I'd like to be able to set them up for use in a Linux OS running on a virtual machine. Can you please tell me from your experience if this pass-through is possible and how is it done better? Thanks!
After ESXi is installed on workstation pro how do you add datastores on other drives. My ESXi cannot see drives with datastore that were connected to ESXI that was running directly
Hi, I followed your instructions to its core; however, upon logging in with my root and the password, I am not able to see any storage or database, everything is blank. I configured DHCP for assigning an IP address, and the DNS, not sure if that may have caused the issue. Any idea?
Thanks 🙏 happy thanksgiving!
You’re welcome ☺️

Hello man,
I follow step by step your video but at the end I don't have the "datastore1" in the stockage. Is it normal ? Thanks
thank you for this tutorial!! Just one issue question i had. I can't ping the vmware IP from windows cmd. Why? :\
maybe the windows firewall in on. check that and make sure its off.
This is so cool, didnt know you can do this. I thnk you need real server and install on top.
really, glad you were able to learn something from the video.

Hi, I am getting started with virtualization and networking, pls tell what to put in static ip in esxi
Check out some of my other videos. Once you have your server up and running you have to go into the settings and go to net work.
Hello Patrick, Question. Why did you assign STATIC IP of 192.168.200.210? Why not 192.169.1.100?
Thanks for the support. Cause that was the subnet i was using for that network in vmware. you can use any IP space.
After ESXi is installed on workstation pro how do you add datastores on other drives. My ESXi cannot see drives with datastore that were connected to ESXI that was running directly
I added disk images (VMDK) to the ESI VM to create new DataStores but still can't connect the existing datastore
I install the ESXi 8 free version on VMWare Workstation (install on win 10) but I got the error No network adapters were detected
Doesn't work for me. Request timed out. This is no longer officially supported.
For other: Some keyboard F11 does not work try FN F11 to select license agreement.
FN or F1
I have same problem f11 does not work

really? I would have to see the way it was configured. DM me and will try and work together on it. Thanks
omg,
Thanks :)
Well that was sure a fun waste of time. (not)
