Russell is one of the few pro players I actually admire, he's the standard of what a professional in his field should be like, and on top of that he's out of this world in terms of skill. People tend to forget how rare it is to find people like him.
I really do respect him. I knew him as an acquaintance at school and it's true that he was NOT popular... I'm not the hero who stuck up for him but I'm glad CS was able to give him somewhere he belongs and he's been able to shine so bright. Really feels good to watch someone go through the thick of it and come out so respectful, humble and great at something.
Truly happy for him, and I can say everyone who used to hate on him in bc now mostly cheers him on!!
@@PlanarianCherald
if people hated on him then only cheer once hes famous. They are fucking leeches and pathetic
Dont switch up just because someone becomes famous. Shows true character
@@user-nb7df very cute, i love that LV bag he is always carrying around in faze's vlogs UwU
@@CasuallyEfficient you sound hurt lol, live you own life and follow your own interests kiddo, you'll be happier ❤️
@CasuallyEfficient lol don't let me get to you buddy, you'll have a better night without me in the back of your mind ❤️
Man, when that faze roster hit their peak, they were SCARY. He had an amazing run with faze. Best of luck, Twistzz. This new liquid roster will be really fun to watch.
loved this short video. As a brazilian fan, i'm hyped up to see the americas rise up again
The only thing that can screw that Liquid roster is YEKINDAR's attitude. If he lets cadiaN fully call the shots and just sticks to clicking heads it's goodnight Vienna.
Twistzz is such an easy to like player, truly hope the best for him
That closing line killed me! The RL Award for Career achievement (and approximate good looks) needs to be a thing!
Fuck the HLTV gala, this one I'd tune in for
the more i see and go through this roster the more i get excited for the coming year and just to be here to see them play but that terrifies me because i don't wanna see this project fail.
I know others crown Eliege as the NA GOAT, but given Twistzz' massive string of accomploshmets, coupled with his personal performance in those tournaments, he is undoubtedly the NA GOAT for me..
Correct he's clear of Elige by a large margin to me
The NA goat isn’t the fourth best player on a European team.
@@thereportoftheweek787 Why not? Genuinely confused how his assigned passive positions on a European superteam determines the ability for him to be the NA GOAT.
To me the Twistzz vs Elige is what your preference is, tournament wins or level of play
Obviously, he needs that third Intel Grand Slam to be recognized as not just the NA goat but just one of the greatest players in the world. This team, as a whole, I believe as a whole will be considered the greatest team ever put together. Now we just have to wait and see and hope that they are just thst good
Definitely looking forward to watching this liquid roster next year
Just hope its not like heroic.
Am I having a fever dream or wasn't there just an episode of rlewisshow?
If Twistzz is the NA goat then by the same logic Dupreeh HAS to be the goat of overall CS, cause they both have achieved the most respectively. Twistzz has never been the best, or even the 2nd best player on any team he's won with, the reason Twistzz has an impressive resume from liquid is cause Elige (and also NAF) were so good. Twistzz obviously has achieved more and you can argue he's made better moves for his careers to allow him to win more, but Elige across the board has been the better player for longer, despite winning slightly less
I am really worried that yekindar will be stuck with igl brain. hopefully the time away from officials helped with that.
I've always liked the guy since I started following CS go, one of the few likeable players
Wait what? Twistzz had plenty of bad games in Faze and they still won. In terms of consistency this year he's barely above 60% (61.5%) which doesn't even have him in the top 30 and with this Liquid lineup I assume he's going to have a lot more pressure on him as I suspect he'll be expected to step up and be the second star of the team over NAF and skullz. Perfect example of why "twistzz is the NA goat because trophies" is a stupid argument is the Sydney grand finals. EliGE was by far the best player in the server with a 1.32 rating in the finals (broky was 2nd with a 1.23) while twistzz was by far the worst player in the server with a 0.75 (2nd worst was karrigan with a 0.86) but Twistzz walked away with the trophy because his team was better in spite of his performance. I don't think Twistzz will have the luxury of winning grand finals with a .75 rating in this Liquid lineup.
yeah that was definitely inaccurate. he also said he's "definitely sure" that Twistzz will be in the Top 20 this year, but unfortunately it really doesn't look like he will be
Edit: well i guess i was wrong, Twistzz barely squeaked in at #20
i dont really get the na goat debate, how can the third best player on liquid and fourth best player on faze be the NA goat compared to a perennial top 10 rifler, like seriously Elige was liquid's main man during their era while twistzz during faze's era (using era loosely) was not even really that necessary, its not like he was integral to their wins or anything, he has never won an mvp on faze
actual hater energy, take a long look in the mirror man. dude's accomplished just as much if not more than anybody from his region against the highest competition, ask yourself what you've accomplished
@@MultiPets. I think whilst Mechanically Elige is the best NA player, in terms of accolades that makes Twistzz the greatest NA player
exactly. Twistzz has NEVER been the best player on any of his teams and people arguing that EliGE hasn't won anything without twistzz ignore the fact that EliGE was the one racking up those event wins and getting top 5 HLTV while Twistzz peaked at 9th with 2 teammates above him in 2019 and his second highest ranking was 11th with 2 teammates above him in 2022.
@@KindriEvans Do you consider dupreeh to be the GOAT then?
@@flyyistaken ?? how’s that hating he literally wasn’t important at all for fazes wins, he was just a solid player for them, while elige was completely irreplaceable during liquids run, 1.2+ top 5 rifler at his peak, one of the greatest riflers ever, why NA fans reject greatness in favour of glazing the 4th best player on a borderline superteam is wild to me
Definitely a 1a 1b situation, but for me it’s still Elige. I don’t think Twistzz has been “the man” in a team yet, where as Elige is definitely the main guy in complexity and was the backbone of that 2019 liquid team. Twistzz hasn’t been a #1 option in a team yet where Elige almost always has been, but depending on how this new liquid roster goes Twistzz could take over as the NA goat.
NAF will always be my NA goat but having it be another Canadian ain't so bad either
wdym summit1g clearly the NA goat bro
Twistzz can only dream of being as good looking as u lol
Great video like always!
lets say this
twistzz is the GREATEST na player of all time
elige is the BEST na player of all time
u see what i did there
great is more based on who is the better teamate and who won more
best is around who is the better player based on fragging
this is the same analogy for karrigan and gla1ve, gla1ve's 4 majors might never be broekn by karrigan and no one will give karrigan his edge for result winnings, but i think its clear as day he is the better igl, he has made more teams better and is still very good to this day whilst glav1e isnt even a top 5 igl in denmark
Twistzz has never been the best player in the teams he has all his accomplishments from. In Faze he was way down the list. Elige still the best player to come out of NA
Just as a taught experiment, if i had to wish myself a team it would always include russell and finn
the second he became the first player to win 2 grand slams he was the NA goat
So does that mean that Dupreeh is the goat of csgo over S1mple? cause Dupreeh has achieved more then any other player
@@K0kEEE not necessarily. Because NA is a smaller region they just happen to be one and the same. The most winning and the best, same with Australia - jks is both. But in EU it’s more complicated since it a way bigger and more nuanced scene.
@@SlopsMcChops So hypothetically in this scenario if Dexter had won more with mouz, lets say a major for the sake of the argument, while still individually staying about the same level, you would have to put him as the GOAT over jks for AU. Despite the fact the obviously jks has consistently been a significantly better player over a longer period of time. Because that is the exact same argument as making Twistzz the NA goat. Twistzz is a good player, but because he's a likeable guy with flashy highlights he gets overrated constantly.
@@K0kEEE you are trying way to hard to poke a hole in the most simple statement homie. The only other option in NA is elige and he barely made top 20 in ‘21 and didn’t even make it in ‘22, and hasn’t done much outside of the 2019 lineup. Meanwhile twistzz won a second grand slam and a major while being a fantastic player both in the team and as an individual. They’re both incredible - twistzz a little more so. Stop being intentionally dull
@@SlopsMcChops Twistzz still has less appearances on the top 20 then Eliige, and Elige has 2 years where he placed higher then Twistzz highest ever placing. Just admit you started watching CS in the last few years and didnt actually see prime Elige from 2016-2020. He's head and shoulders above any other rifler from NA on an individual level
