The album version is good too but EXO is the one group where their live versions are better than studio. The good thing is they have the live concert albums so you can listen to the live versions anytime. I bought the live albums and have them in my iTunes playlist.

Yeah me too. I love his last part (Forever) when he seemed not breathing while spilling his lines. And it's just powerful vocals and dance of EXO on this. Suho's unexpected note, and my fav. D.O.'s stylish voice. Excellent.

'Forever' is one of my favourite song in EXO. I listen to this at least one time every day. My favourite parts of the song- when Chen says saraaaang, when Chanyeol says Yo nice skirt and obviously the rap part.
I like Suho's part at The Eve performance and Chanyeol's rap at Forever. And every single part of Kyungsoo vocal at hole performance

The amount of harmonization in Forevere is insane! It seems like exceed all the harmonixation in the kpop industry with just one song!
This performance : Perfect.. I'm amaze by forever stage. How smart and amazing.. Just wait until we get the intro in their next concert.. I hope what baekhyun said will be real, getting the eldorado stage as opening!
You know why the background shattered like glass during "The Eve" performance, right when they focused on D.O.? As a member of EXO, D.O.'s superpower is the ability to use the elements of earth (dirt) which give him strength/force. So what you saw was, as D.O. raised his hands above his head, he used his superpower to break the background.
And during the rap section in "Forever," if you notice, the background becomes swirling flames to represent Chanyeol and Sehun's combined powers of fire and wind.
As you can see, everything EXO does has something to do with their origin story and their powers, even live performances. You will see in future performances other examples of the members using their powers as well. For example, when it rains on stage, you will see them focus on Suho because he has the power to control water, and when they sing about "Thunder" you will see them focus on Chen because he controls Thunder/lightning/electricity. Baekhyun has the power to control light, so you will often see him turn the lights off or on when he is one stage, and when they sing about snow or winter you will see Xiumin because he controls snow/ice/frost, etc.
To help you pinpoint the powers being used in their MVs and live performances here is a list of the members and what their special power is.
EXO-K
💦 Suho (Kim JunMyeo) is the leader of the group and he is a lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control water (Fun fact: Suho in Korean means guardian, as in the guardian of EXO. That's why as the leader of EXO, his stage name is Suho)
💡Baekhyun is a main vocalist and his superpower is the ability to control light
🔥Chanyeol is the main rapper and lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control fire and his spirit animal is the phoenix.
🌏D.O. (Do KyungSoo) is a main vocalist and his power is the ability to control earth (dirt) which gives him strength/force
☄Kai (Kim JongIn) is a main dancer, lead vocalist and sub-rapper and his power is teleportation (Kai means opening as in a door or gateway, so his stage name was chosen to represent his role within EXO's story.)
🌪Sehun is the youngest member of the group and he is a lead rapper, lead dancer and a vocalist -- his power is the ability to control wind
EXO-M
❄Xiumin (Kim MinSeok) is the oldest member of the group and he is a lead vocalist and lead rapper and his power is the ability to control snow/ice (frost)
🦄 Lay (Zhang Yixing) is the Chinese member of the group, he is a main dancer, lead vocalist and rapper -- his power is the ability to heal anything.
🌩 Chen (Kim JongDae) is a main vocalist and his power is the ability to control thunder/lightning/electricity
(As you can see, Xiumin and Chen were given stage names that sounded more Chinese so they would fit in better in EXO-M because they are the Korean members of the Chinese group)

🐉 Kris was the leader of EXO-M he was a main rapper and vocalist -- his power was the ability to fly and his spirit animal was a dragon
💭 Luhan was a main vocalist and his power was telekinesis (The ability to control things with his mind)
⏰Tao (Z. Tao) was a lead rapper and vocalist and the martial artist of the group, so he did the flips and stunts in the group's routines. His power was the ability to control time
On a side note: If you like EXO's version of "The Eve" you should hear the English version of the song. "The Eve" was co-wrote and composed by Henry from Super Junior-M and he sings a short demo version of the song in English. There is a clip of Henry in the recording studio singing the song you should watch. Henry is the youngest member of Super Junior and he is considered a music genius. Henry is Chinese/Taiwanese-Canadian, so his first language is English. He recorded a demo of the song to show everyone what the song sounds like in English. But unfortunately, SM never has Henry record the full English version, which most listeners will agree is a shame, because Henry's vocals and the English lyrics would have made this song an even bigger hit than it already is. Something i really really love about kpop reaction youtubers is that no matter what kpop artist they started with, if theyre really in it for the music and end up discovering EXO one by one they fall down the exo rabbit hole and you see how they fall so in love with them and feel like their lives changed after them.

the whole " The War" album are iconic, bops, my top 3 of EXO albums! This album had every genres, songs like Kokobop, Forever, The Eve, Going Crazy, Touch It, Walk on Memories. God it's such a top tier album, you really need to listen the full album of The War, highly recommended. Thank you always Sir!

The transition in this performance is 👌 their vocals, rap & dance. And their concerts are just majestic! Basically I'm gonna work hard in life just so I can afford to watch their concert in the future 😂 no other goals! 🤭

And that's why forever is one of my fav exo song of all time, prob my fav exo b-side ever. I was already addicted to the song ever since i listened to it on the album (yes it's from the war album) and then they used this for the opening sequence of the concert i just ndndbdggdhd it's the perfect song for it and their performance is just making it 1000x better. All the songs they used for the opening sequence are like remix of the original like growl, but for the newer songs like the eve, forever, kokobop, they just changed it slightly to fit the concert vibe, to make them sound more grand i think.
Their stylist deserves a raise for those godly suits
