I love this video, I've watched it so many times! Why is the therapist placing the safe adhering tape on the patient's forearm?
reverse skin mobs: hold the healed but adherent skin/scar in one direction as the healed tendon pulls in the reverse direction. Hold to try to improve glide....
As seen in video, the excercise is for closing the fingers. As I'm stroke patient, my problem is just opposite. I can't open the fingers, where as there is good strength to hold things. Pl. Advise or anyone who knows can also do. Thx.

Thank you dr for this video. What type of therapy usually advised after ulnar nerve transposition surgery. Symptoms before operation were weakness in hand grip and muscle mass get smaller.

What is the purpose of the exercises done at :40 with the forearm
Late to the draw but what the client is doing with the putty is activating the muscles that bend the fingers forward. It looks like the therapist is feeling for those muscles in the forearm to make sure they're all being activated
Scar traction from therapist while pt performs grip/digit strengthening exercises with putty. For tendon excursion, managing thick scar adhesions, and strength.
