I am planning on doing the same , coming out of a new build after my ex partner left . Perfect opportunity to put myself in a run down house, learn some trade and do as much of the refurb as possible. Avoiding CG at the same time ! Any profit ill use to start my HMO portfolio ! Planning on doing it every year ! Well done though lad , just shows ya it works ! Have to put yourself in that position though but thats the difference right ? The average person would not live in this kind of house but the average person will never be financially free !!!

Congratulations on the refurb it looks good.can i ask if you are allowed 2 people in one room as part of a rental agreement? I thought because of space requirements for each individual you can't have 2 tenants in one room on a HMO.thanks
They didn't get 750 for the room. They also didn't get 775 like they claimed in the video. They got 700 PCM check out SpareRoom and you'll see that they weren't being truthful about that.
Two rooms. Three tenants. I am right understand you got two bedrooms and one rebuild living room for bedroom. Ok. One bedroom room £650, second bedroom +£700 downstairs and rebuilding room +£775 = £2125. Question: how did you get £3500 ❓❓❓ Financial freedom))😄
@@asingh67266 bit late I guess… I can only assume you’ve had trouble selling or similar hence the comment. But as of right now sales are stagnating and I do think the prices will drop before close of the year…

Too true. Because its only worth what someone is willing to pay.
However, the asset has a cashflow too.
But we know what someone is willing to pay for it cause he turned down offers for 400k and a refinance is as good as a sale.

If the property is not habitable then you do not need to pay stamp duty
