2XKO is very interesting from a new player perspective, simplified controls largely only help with difficulty perception rather than actual difficulty (yes there is still a difference tho). however with the inclusion of the pulse fuse (despite the mixed sentiment) you are much better able to get started in this game with minimal setbacks especially if you aren't trying to go pro, and i see the generally negative reception to it as less of an indication of its quality and more so the community perception. very few of the vocal portion of the community don't want to feel like theyre being setback at all and see the pulse fuse as a dead weight for the more experienced player in a duo situation with a newer player, which misses the whole point of the fuse in the first place. and even as a side note combos are no significant amount easier imo just because you have one button specials and the button layout feels just a little crowded/awkward at times, but i'll be damned if i spend two minutes critisizing this game without singing it's praises, even in the alpha state it is so good. bonus points for doing braum justice < 3
