Am I the only one that caught that?
At the end you said "Acho need some love, and some Joy"! 😅 You real slick Wiley!! Lmao
They have been trying to give Josh Allen this mvp for 3 years, and they have now finally given it to him 😂
I just don't like how the criteria changes every year that makes the process invalid!!!
Same. It’s weird and wild
My only pushback is how does someone become 1st team all pro but the guy that made 2nd team all pro is mvp. When the same voters are for both.
Did you even listen to Ocho's explanation? It was spot on... try watching it again. It's literally less than 2 minutes.
@ what Ocho say ? Didn’t know he was in the video
Love the B-Rabbit 8-Mile battle talk back in the rap, MW screaming, "Acho go eat another nacho" 😂
Statistics didn't matter last year but this yr it does? Ok lol
Josh had 18 interceptions remember?
Yall refuse to put things into context. I’m convinced people on the internet are dense lmfao
Josh was second in the league in turnovers last year, only 1 behind Sam Howell. Stats do matter.
Joe Burrow led the league in yards and TD's. But nobody is crying for him winning MVP
Joe lost twice to Lamar this year, Josh only lost to Lamar (by 25 points) once, lol.
He'll get it another year. That MVP is just a carpet award to have people consume football when there is no football to watch. It doesn't mean anything to players... as long as they don't have a ring.
Saquan Barkley should’ve been MVP
Naw, eagles could still be where they are without SB. Bills could not of gotten where they got without him.
Agreed
Facts they need to separate it for QB/RB
Philly would be nothing without him
@@googleifyouseekayu- absolutely 💯
“Value is based upon value”
Great take Acho 😂
if we talking about most valuable to their team than it should have been saquon
He would've got it if he broke the record
Facts. And cmc last season
Right I woulda been fine with Saquan winning MVP over Lamar because Saquan was literally the spark in Philly but they felt bad Josh hasn’t won shit they gave him a charity MVP
@ right I’m a ravens fan but i call a spade a spade the real mvp was Saquon 😂
Saquan is so valuable his QB doesn’t have to play as a traditional QB to win
Without the oline?
Funny he didn't do that in NY without the best Oline in football.
traditional QB like Josh Allen, who has never won a conference ship. got ya.
These media heads make up shit every year 😂
HELL NAW, LAMAR HAD A HISTORIC YEAR FOR A QB AND GET REWARDED WITH 2ND BEST #MAKENOSENSE
By that logic, then Burrow should have won it….
@@erikturner8687unless you lose twice to Lamar. hahaha. by that logic.
I'm not a JA fan but this season he absolutely balled out well deserved the NFL got it right 💯
9 for 30 lost 35 to 10 to Lamar. baller
How tf you have better stats and lose 😂😂😂 they wanted that white boy to win since week 14
But Lamar won it last year with crappy stats, so that completely destroys your own argument.
@@johnw504 PPPLOANs is just another race baiting jerk off online.
"Must be racism".
Whatever.
OMG the NFL not goin off of stats they watching film also an last year Allen had better stats then lamar but they still gave it too Lamar
@ man i’m talking bout this year 😂😂😂
@ppploans like i told you the voters not just looking at stats if that's the case Allen shldve won MVP last year they watching film an who had more moments in games u cant be bias u gotta look at both sides
Mahommes is actually the most valuable . That Chiefs team is not a 15-2 team with any other QB
I think that's debatable if you also give them Andy Reid, Spags, and Chris Jones
Chris Jones is the MVP on the Chiefs
That's true. Should the award be changed to Player of the Year from Most Valuable Player? Should the awards be given out after the entire season?
I was coming here to say this
@@toolegit7668you can't switch him out with Josh Allen and get the same result
Allen is the best🎉
Revenge Tour next month..😢😮
Since 2018 LITERALLY EVERYONE SAID “Lamar has to be a pocket passer”….but each year he has gotten way better and now he has thrown for 4k yards, 43 PASSING TDs, 119.3 QBR, 4 INTERCEPTIONS AND 950 RUSHING YARDS….and he doesn’t win MVP is just crazy
One question for everyone… if Lamar never won’t mvp before… would he have lost this year??
Probably. He didn’t have any signature wins towards the end like Josh did. Bills also had a better record.
@@scottkolber2323 what signiture wins did allenm have at the end of the season ?? bills also played a much easier schedule and lost the head to head??
@@RobertSmith-tu7rl mf the bills beat the chiefs and the lions 😂😂😂 yall just crying for no reason.
@ Lions That game sealed it for Josh.
@@scottkolber2323 why does nobody mention… LIONS HAD 16 injuries… Josh beat up on a team with no defense 🤣
Congratulations Josh Allen, you are the most valuable to your team😊
All deserved to be MVP bro. Lamar would have been a good choice too. You can only choose one. Saquon should have been the MVP
Barkley was the real MVP.
Allen had 15 more tds than Jackson last year and they gave it to Jackson because he had less turnovers and more wins. Allen shouldve been 1st team ap as well.
Josh led the league in interceptions
@@freeindeed8416and also had like 7 fumbles
That’s y’all only argument is bringing up last season🤣. That just lets me know Josh didn’t deserve or earn it.
Are you being sarcastic?
second to Sam Howell in turnovers. haha.
You know who got it right? That goes out to you M Wiley. You couldn't have broke it down anymore accurate then you just did.
Is the MVP the most valuable player of the league or the team. If it's a team award Joe Burrow should've got it. The narrative for Josh Allen was made after last season. Josh Allen was determined the MVP of this year last year. It's a narrative award.
Ocho is unbearable...His Dr.Umar style delivery while being more like Diddy
....Is cringe.
Super cringe!
Dude, Lamar is the definition of ELITE. He can do it all and I think he took his game up another notch this year. That being said, he lost because Derek Henry (who is a top 2-3 RB) was on his team and he had less wins than Josh. I also think that his own D let him down in a few of those games they lost but it is still a team game and it happens. The Bills were not supposed to do anything this year and they came close to going to the SB... Josh is the MVP and it's okay with me.
Josh Allen carried his entire team. Lamar had a better supporting cast. I can see both sides.
Allen did more with less so I'm glad he got the MVP well deserve he shldve won it last year
That's the 1st logical thing I've heard Acho say I years. 😂😂😂 I agree 👍
I was surprised by that. He’s a joke but he took this MVP vote seriously. He actually asked about criteria from the AP and watched film and didn’t just give brain dead “Lamar had more TDs and passer rating” arguments without including context
Getting mentioned in a workplace lawsuit will do that to ya.
This is a consolation prize for losing to Mahomes in another game with a lot of questionable officiating. Now add that with voter fatigue. By any metric Lamar should have won. Last year you could have made a case for Dak Prescott like several talking heads said. This gives the Buffalo fan base something to chew on. It's not the Superbowl.....but better than losing 4 Superbowl in a row is thinking.
Saquon Barkley should have won it, had a 2000 yard season and revitalized the eagles offense after it struggled the last half of last season. At the same time there’s nothing controversial about Josh Allen winning it, he had a great season. Allen, Jackson, and Barkley are all worthy of winning it. There’s nothing controversial or sinister about Allen winning it. People act like that every year if their favored candidate doesn’t win. Just because something doesn’t go a certain way as far as an award goes means there something sinister or controversial about it. People always want to demonize something when there is no right or wrong to who gets picked for an award.
On the 'voter fatigue' thing, I agree with Nick Wright on this one - they had a good segment on this MVP thing. It's rare for me to agree with him but have to give him props for this take. The voter fatigue is intimately tied to the lack of post season success. They said Lamar is the only 2-time MVP to never have been in a Super Bowl. Already Lamar is an outlier. Imagine if he had 3 MVPs! It would just make his lack of post-season success even more of a thing. It really taints :) his career, and they went as far as to say that he's better off to have not gotten it this time. It's a good segment (and I hate to point ppl there but it is what it is - give credit where due). Really puts some context on the voter fatigue thing.
We're proud of Josh.
We would have been whether he won it or not!
#Billsmafia
As my 7yr grand son says ( It don't matter
Either 1 could have won
But Pat Mahomes is MVP
Yes Allen is more valuable .
No, Saquan is the most valuable.
@@boxybrown6900they been to superbowl without saquan
Saquan is literally the most valuable
MVP is the qb that wins the Super Bowl
NO HE WASN'T JOSH HAS A TEAM OF NFL OF PLAYER JUST LIKE LAMAR.....
All the media heads were saying if Derek Henry gets 20 touches the Ravens win, when Henry gets less than 20 toughes they lose. So how is Lamar most VALUABLE?
Technically speaking the bills also reduced Allen volume got James cook more involved and became a better team this started at the end of last season it’s kinda just one of those things if you like Lamar he should’ve won if you like Allen he should’ve won probably should’ve been co MVP but I don’t have a problem with Allen winning fans acting like it’s clear one way not being truthful it was a close race
just make the heisman and nfl mvp a QuarterBacks award
I’m of the opinion that if you have a near 2000 yard rusher the quarterback can’t be mvp
I agree. Lamar is insane but without DH, I dunno if his stats are the same. Hell, they might be better to carry the weight more? No way to know but you can't ignore Henry on the same team.
The awards are popularity contest had nothing to do with the game HOF, MVP'S, etc. T.O was not voted into hall of fame just because the media didn't like him nothing to do with his game he was number 2 in every stat all time and it took 3years to get in!!!
Preach. Dumbest 💩 Eva
Unc showing his bills bias right now😂
At the beginning of the year all i was hearing was how the bills got worse. No one was expecting the bills, except for bills fans, to be this good. Josh really deserved it, saquan would be 2nd and Lamar would be 3rd to me.
Josh Allen is a great pick. He's got nothing but the Bills are good 😊. Lamar Jackson is great but Josh Allen is a great pick 😊.
For real. At the beginning of the year I couldn't believe the Ravens pulled Henry... the Bills gave up Diggs and everyone thought the sky was falling in Buffalo... they were saying the window was closed for Josh and whatever else.
Josh Allen- only player to complete 9 of 30 in a modern NFL football game and win MVP in the same season. You can be the worst QB IN 32 years and still win mvp. DEI
It was about time Josh got his consolation prize. The man goes through such heartbreaks season after season. Fully deserved after beating the Ravens.
Lamar had too many turnovers.
Trippin. How does the best player in football this year mean LESS to the NFL than the 4th best?
Make that make sense 🤷🏿♂️?
Did you even listen to ACHO?
Looking at everything, the stats between the offenses and defenses are comparable at first glance, but looking a little deeper, I began to see a pattern and it was with stats not generally looked at. For instance, although both had basically the same pts per game and def pts per game; Buffalo led the league in turnover differential and the crazy thing it wasn't because of offense, it was the defense. Buffalo led the league in creating turnovers and was one of the top for fewest penalties per game, while Baltimore was one of the last in the league. I don't know if Buffalo has a better defense than Baltimore, but that defense helped him win a lot.
They try to change the criteria every year to benefit Lamar. Josh was the most valuable to his team and that's why he won. Watching Lamar stans seethe and have a meltdown is hilarious though.
Josh Allen is mvp Lamar is best player
Bottom line, Allen is worthy of it. We can all feel that Lamar should have been MVP again, but he wasn’t, so it is what it is. Unfortunately, Lamar’s success proved so many people wrong about him as a QB, they have set the bar for him to win a SB. Lamar could make 2 SBs and play great, and some will still criticize him for not having a ring. Dude is still under 30 and they act like he is a superstar NBA player leading his team on the court, when football is nothing like that. Much harder to win a SB as a team than it is to win a NBA title due to all the factors involved on both sides of the ball.
I was fine with Josh winning it, however I heard voters say they felt bad cuz Josh hadn’t won one and I’m not feeling that part.
Please stop playing Acho!! 😂
If anyone uses Mina Kimes real analysis based on analytically factual information, not emotions, to determine Real Value. The eye test also confirms the data. With that being said, all of the Ravens’ losses were one of Lamar’s worst Quarterback rating of the year. The common denominator is when Lamar plays well, the Ravens win. He has more wins than any quarterback than Mahomes since he has been in the league. Lamar is good for the NFL brand because he’s a must see performer. Based on the above stated facts, Lamar Jackson is the “real” MVP
Why not Saquan Barkley?
They got it wrong last year and they got it wrong this year. But like Aaron Rodgers said when he lost to Kurt Warner even though his stats were awesome. Kurt beat us so he was MVP. Also Lamar's wins was the reason the media told us he won last year. Now this year you cant hold his losses against him? Dont move the field goal equals less outrage.
They got in wrong last year and got it right this year
Lmao nah Unc you wrong on this one
Aidan Hutchinson should’ve been MVP then 😂
With all that being said then it should have been saquan Barkley.
You know what, everyone can skew their numbers, conversation, or who had more or less talent JA or LJ played with however the voters want to vote. What has happened now, people are justifying their vote to ease their own conscience about voting for JA.
Every top 5 QB is valuable to their team that don’t make them the Most Valuable Player in the League tho
Acho smelling the votes on this one? 😂😂😂
Lamar stans are delusional. Is it a coincidence that Lamar just came off of his best statistical season the year that Derrick Henry joined his team and ran for almost 2,000 yards? Meanwhile Josh lost his 2 best recievers and still was able to lead his team to a better record than before. I was cool with either guy winning it even though I thought Josh deserved it more. Any talk of robbery is just a stan
you act like khalil shakir is not even good tho
@evansdarien5125 it's not about being good, it's about playing with elite talent. Lamar had a nearly 2,000 yrd rusher and a 1,000 yard reciever on his team. Josh has good talent but he doesn't have elite talent like Lamar. So what Josh did is more impressive imo
More valuable to the league? Are we back to "not quarterbacky enough"?
Every time somebody gives a protracted explanation about why or how they get to a MVP or who should be a MVP, they just sound so hypocritical and suspect.
Why is a MVP never on a team that would just miss the playoffs but without a key player might be close to last in their division?
And I'm also not buying the probowl reason because the Bills have the same pro-bowlers as they did the year before. Now all of a sudden the Bills are supposed to have meh team out there?
You could tell people wanted to give it to Josh last year. Commanders go from 4 & 13 to 12 & 5 by adding McDaniels.
Which sound more like an MVP?
MW did you notice RC was tip toeing talking about this he was nervous you was going put him in Check again another great take
Ryan Clark ain’t worried about Marcellus
@ everyone have there opinion o well
😉 I’m just the mirror 😜
Barkley should have played the last game. He would have broken the rushing record. He should have been MVP. End of story.
I really wanted Saquon to play and break the record, but he is a team first guy. Excellent man is he. If he broke the record, it would have made a case for him. Hope he wins the SB and is MVP- he totally deserves it…
Said Josh Allen was getting his for sure, no way you giving Lamar that mf again
I disagree with Josh Allen being MVP but I agree with the criteria of how they come to the decision. People always say Josh had to do more with less and yet even when Josh played horrible they won games (Colts and Patriots). Lamar has one game with a passer rating under 100 that he won. That game was a rating of 92.8. Josh Allen had four he won. Two of them were in the 60s.
Not to take away from Josh Allen because he exceeded expectations but to make it seem like his team was so much lesser than seems disingenuous to me
The criteria will change next year.
QB bias is ridiculous. (RB) Barkley was the REAL MVP
Achos explanation was terrible and talks too much. Lamar was better in stats and head to head. Supporting cast on defense and offense is not to far apart. Division and record weighs more. Allen is in the easiest Division in football.
Lastly, Saquan was better than Josh.
NFL not goin off just stats they watchin film also an Allen did more with less lamar had a supporting cast Allen carried his team
Alright, here's what I think about all this B.S. Lamar played 1.5 more games. Allen only played half of week 16 and none of week 17. He the Bills had the 2 seed locked up by then, Lamar didn't. So Josh putting his team first by not risking injury by playing in games that did not matter. Look at what Josh has averaged times that by 1.5 you'll see the number are damn near identical to Lamar's.
No one has ever deducted value from Mahomes when he does the same and yet he won MVP's. Lamar had far superior weapons, better defense and played more games. Lamar took 100 snaps more with Derek Henry then still lost to Josh in the Playoffs when he had the superior team, so deal with it folks. Last year it was the opposite, Josh had superior numbers but less wins than Lamar so they gave it to LAMAR, So what's different? WE both know, one is white and one is black. Learn to see past the color of your own skin America. Think, don't just react to the first damn race baiting M'Fer on TV.
So Pat Mahomes is less valuable to his team. Ravens loss a lot, dc coach, oc coach, rookie small wr. 2 rookies on oline, 32nd ranked secondary through week 12. AFC north is beast. Allen division was weak, strength of schedule. Suddenly, we change criteria to give it to Josh. 30 ap 1st place votes. Robbed.
Josh Allen winning MVP over Lamar Jackson is like Martin Scorsese finally winning Best Director for The Departed when it’s not even his best film. It’s like Beyoncé getting a Grammy for Cowboy Carter while Lemonade was clearly her magnum opus. This kind of thing happens all the time-actors win Oscars for performances that pale in comparison to their earlier, more deserving work. Think of Al Pacino winning for Scent of a Woman instead of The Godfather or Dog Day Afternoon, or Leonardo DiCaprio getting his Oscar for The Revenant when The Wolf of Wall Street was arguably the more defining role. It’s just how these awards work-sometimes it’s about timing, narrative, or making up for past snubs rather than truly honoring the best performance of the year.
The Greatest Comment Ever
Most valuable to his team and to the league this year in my opinion is Saquon Barkley. Without him, the Eagles wouldn't be in the Super Bowl. I don't know why they debating about two guys that are out buying their Super Bowl watch party outfits right now.
Saquan Barkley should have won the MVP award!
Drake Maye got robbed if we being honest.
This shit is sad…no matter how great Lamar becomes, the haters will forever cherry pick, move the goal post and discredit his greatness 🤦🏾♂️GOD don’t like ugly and Lamar will soon get his Ring💯
Put Josh Allen on Baltimore and the Ravens winning 3-4 super bowls
Why josh allen always had a better team? And did nothing . Lamar has the same team from last year except henry. Josh had a load Defense and loaded WR room with a top 5 wr. Did nothing
Up until week 10 ravens had the worst defense in the league and worst Kicker
Both Allen and Lamar terrific seasons. Best player Mahomes. Truth Allen should have been winner. Biased about best Born Raised KCMO! 2nd Best QB ever my Man Montana saw Live alot.
They got it wrong... Lamar was the best QB & player in the league and the stats backed that up...but now having your best and the best stats passng and running overall that translated to actual wins (unlike Burrow) while playing the position has been devalued ....last year Josh finished 5th not second as he had 20-plus turnovers so that argument wasn't valid either...damn bro you are usually much more thorough but that Bill loyalty (bias) showed up... the MVP became a mockery award the same people didnt't even vote Josh first team ALL Pro "nuff said...which means Josh isn't starting over Lamar on the ALL PRO team. SMDH
I wanna ask you if the statistics we're switched...Do you think Josh Allen still gets the MVP .. guess what I do we all know what the elephant in the room is🤔
"HatTrick" Mahomes 35, Eagles 27👍
Ryan clark be crying in the car!!!
Ravens also had one terrible loss, Raiders. They finished below the Bills in the standings.
And Josh didn't play except for the first snap "to keep his record starting" in the last 1.5 games. That will hurt your stats but is the right thing to do for the team, why risk injury in pointless (team wise) games. Mahomes never plays in them either.
I think Acho nailed….
NFL is entertainment second (business first/actual compietition third) Allen fit the story line
Tbh we know Acho has a pretty high “situational awareness” let’s just say there a handful of his peers (receipt available OG) who have called into question the “fortitude” of this years AP voters. EA put it in the table to distance himself from others that aren’t as forthcoming with their ballots.
If this is the case than jayden shouldn't be 9th in mvp
Acho, not a single person cares about your philosophical and or scientific observations on NFL MVP or all pro votes. For real why is everything so much harder than what it should be??
Problem is … the words valuable /best are subjective
Ravens had Tyrod Taylor and he ain’t do SHIITT…saying the ravens can find another black QB and be successful like Lamar is the most craziest shit to say😂you ain’t finding no Lamar….Ravens stomped buffalo 35-10 but no body mention led that
I don’t like how fans acting like it wasn’t close on both sides it could’ve went either way probably could’ve argue co MVP but I’m not mad at Josh winning it they both had great seasons
Josh's career would have been better if he lost the mvp. watch the festering about to start.
Since when tf was Lamar not the most valuable to his team…..the only new weapon he got this year was Derrick Henry and he still won 2 MVPs before Derrick got there 😂yall move that dumbass goalpost soooo much and cherry pick….Lamar Wr core since his rookie season has been bottom tier and still is😂Josh had STEPHON DIGGS AND GABE DAVIS FOR 4 years and literally hella Pro bowlers and all pro players every year😂
Josh Allen deserved it plain and simple
I'm sure you and all your people feel that way 😂
They didn't want to give it to Lamar because he has two already it's that simple.
Sorry excuse Allen did more with less he deserve MVP NFL got it rite this time
Naw Saquan was the MVP thus season. Take him away from Philly they wouldn't have beaten Washington. Hurts is a good QB not a great one. His presence covers Hurts shortcomings.
Take the subjectively out of the equation... WTF do the stats say. Debate over. 💯
I don’t really care who wins but my question is, if all pro is for the “best player” in the position then why is it not Mahomes? Or is that the only time stats matter
Let's face it both great.
Pick one. It's like Michael or Kobe
It’s not that serious! These people are comical!
You can argue anything
