I visited this last week (18 Jan 2024). Some key observations/recommendations: 1. I took a public bus there at 7pm from Mall of the Emirates. The jam was horrible for a Thursday evening. Buffer close to 1 hr - 1.5 hrs from the bus journey. 2. Don't go there too late. I set off at 6:40pm and only reached there at 8pm. As I was afraid the return bus trip would be equally packed and jammed, I left at 11pm. Given a choice, I would have loved to spend another hour there. The vibe there is amazing. 3. Food prices there are crazy. A cup of cut fruits costs US$7 and a plate of Takoyaki balls costs US$12 or so.
I've always wanted to go to Dubai but it doesn't seem particularly safe or friendly for women. I question if this place is really "fun for the whole family"
