I always hate keeping up with bow and dual blade builds, elemental is key and trying to grind for all of them is a hassle lmao. Definitely using this as a reference when i finally make all elements one day

@@quietchaseElemental is much better. Why would you pick one of the few elemental weapons in the game and still go raw?
The duablades you want are alatreon, fatalis, all of the kjarr weapons, and taroth ice/fire (maybe taroth water too)
@@quietchaseatp just use a diff weapon. The elementals are the ones who do insane dmg

just a heads up, stamina depletion is capped at 50%. So if you're using Marathon Runner 3, dash juice will only reduce stamina used while dodging.
When using dash juice, you should limit yourself to Marathon Runner 2 as that will result in 47.5% reduction (0.7 * 0.75) and use the extra slot for something else, like constitution
Theory crafting some builds and I go in and out using Juice but would this be solid in terms of Stamina management skills- 4 piece Fatalis and F.Rajang arms beta with max Stamina Surge and 2 Marathon Runner?
Idk Dual Blade builds that aren't full Fatalis set without Health Boost or Marathon Runner/Stamina Surge (combo or single deco) feels wrong to me but this is a good base for starting and understanding DB builds.Kinda crazy you didn't mention Frostcraft DB which works without too much Stamina investment.
Sidenote: the Whetfish Sabers DB would've worked well with Silverlos given it has inate Protective Polish.
You said something that makes no sense to me about not having sharpness on that set. How does a brace jewel or the challenger charm give you protective polish? Did you mean the sharp jewel???
Like the armor sets. Another skill to consider with Safi'Jiiva armor Dual Blades and Bows is Latent Power. With how you deplete health from attacks and regen it, you can activate it at a high rate. This allows for affinity & stamina management options for you if people like Latent Power (like myself).

I dont know why people doesnt like Safi Dual Blades Armor, if you dont get hitted, you can spam damage like a demon.
Velkana head, Kirin Jacket, last 3 Shara Ishvalda. All of it is the B version. With crit boost charm. I slot in some health stuff and a crit eye lvl 4 gem on my weapon and i get max crit boost max Weakness Exploit and max crit eye. This set has helped me alot
ive been binging all yur vids man, im currently in endgame making my way to fatalis, so your vids have been MEGA helpful for me. also, nargacuga is my fav monster too!

There is a lack of Taroth DB and Frostcraft in these builds. Frostcraft is often the best way to go for DB because you also get Crit Ele in the process. Ele and raw are equally important for DB, maximizing both is the best way to improve your dps.
Try something like Frostcraft Taroth Ice/Fire against Alatreon or Frostcraft Alatreon Madness against the non-metal Raths, Savage Jho or Fatty and you'll see what I mean. Just don't forget the Free Ele 3 if using Taroth.
Also the Arch Tempered Velk helm is the best 5th armor piece to use in Fatty sets since Coalescence buffs raw and ele. I'd use that for Fatalis Dual Skies, Kjarr Water and Kjarr Thunder builds.
Hey quick question regarding the Safi/Rimeguard armor set... wouldn't the Gamma variant of the Rimeguard armor be better in any case?
depends on the piece, also a lot of people haven't farmed that armor so I tried to make it a bit more accessible

hey thx for that video, very helpful! what gear set would u recommend when trying to get my first fatalis kill? would u just run the silver rathalos set with alatreon weapon?
probably would run a master's touch set (3 teostra armor 2 raging brachy) with whichever Dragon DBs have the highest raw between alatreon and Kjarr Decay. Fatalis has really good raw hitzones but not great elemental, so element takes a back seat to raw. either weapon will work fine, if you already have Alatreon DBs, don't bother farming the Kjarr and just use those

@@DaxGif yes, fatalis DBs will be better vs Fatalis, so if you already have the Fatalis DBs but still need to farm Fatalis, then you should use those

This is just me and idk im new to dual but is there a reason why you put altireons madness over enduring surrender
purple sharpness vs blue
enduring surrender has 510 element, times the blue sharpness multiplier (x1.0625) = ~542 element
alatreon madness has 480 elemet, times the purple multiplier (x1.25) = 600 element
also alatreon has 56 more raw attack, too, so it's *much* more damage once you fully build it out with dragon attack and other such elemental and attack boosting skills
1:45 so question, what are the two levels of recov up and why are they not active? Ive seen them a bunch on builds, is it just skills that were put on mantles?
Yes, only active when mantle is equipped.
they're level one decorations slotted into my mantles! so they're shown like that to let you know they're only active while you're wearing the mantle and it's effects are active. Normally I crop that out but I must've missed that one xD good question tho!

Whetfish Sabers, higher element, better sharpness, innate protective polish, and more affinity easily beats out the small raw bonus the jyura blades have

no, you can run full safi and still get crit element from the Kjarr weapons. I think maybe on dragon or fire DBs it's close, but full safi is pretty OP for elemental builds
What would be a good alternative from using safi or kajarr weapons and armor?
4 pieces of silver rathalos armor with the garuga b legs, then i don't remember the best elemental weapons outside of kjarr or alatreon.

Element Builds as I build have normally 3Alatron and Two Valkana sets on
Tbh I js use AT Velkahna armor, u get Crit ele & frostcraft which increases damage until it runs out. You can do max damage with the set
What is the outfit at the beginning, is it a mod?
layered armor is:
fatalis head (don't recall a or b)
death garon chest
whatever arms only impact the slinger (maybe thermae?)
then one of the kulve (either y, a, or b) for waist and legs
Why do Monster hunter youtubers ALWAYS in every single video tell us that they arent forcing us to use exactly what they are using and that they arent telling us what to do? Like idc Ill use what i want if I dont have what u are using, but why do they ALL specify that they arent forcing you to do anything. Really Curious
i get a billion comments about people saying "why would you use that" "why wouldn't you use this" "i actually prefer *x* skill instead of y" and so I want people to know that it's okay if they change the builds xD
it felt like people didn't realize that they *don't have to* copy my build, and if they like other stuff they can use it. I think some viewers get too married to just building the set they saw on screen then complaining when it didn't have a certain skill that they're used to using xD
