  • This video is a VERY relatable video (hopefully) I made for all my hearing impaired buddies out there. Once I started planning out this video, my list of things I dreaded started getting longer and longer! If any of you out there have disabilities I strongly encourage you to embrace them and not let any of these little nuiances hold you down! I love ya'll so much and I hope you give this video a HUGE thumbs up and SUBSCIBE for more quality content!

Yeessss, finally someone else who understands! I have captioning on my TV because I find it difficult to hear what’s being said completely. I had a job interview recently and it was an over the phone interview “What A disaster”! The interviewer told me from the start that if I needed her to stop and repeat any questions feel free to do so at any time. Boyyy, did I! The next day she emailed me that they would be looking at other candidates for the job position. Simple things I used to be able to hear; It’s just difficult now. I hate intercoms! It’s even more frustrating when you ask someone “What did you say?” or “Could you repeat that?”. They’ll say, “Oh, never mind!”. I try to roll with the punches and persevere through it! Totally Feel you on this!❤️

Ahhh yes you’ve described it perfectly. I’m so glad someone can relate! I’m sorry about the job interview but they definitely didn’t deserve you! Sometimes the best we can do is just bring awareness to this issue💕

We just recently found out about our 2 year old son's moderate to severe hearing loss. Thank you very much for sharing these videos. They are very informative and more importantly, inspiring videos. Seeing a young lady like yourself tackling and overcoming difficult circumstances really gives me great confidence in my sons future. Thank you for this.

I’m so glad these videos have been helping! Hearing loss is something that can make you feel different in a bad way at first but you get to learn that it makes you stronger and just as competent as everybody else! I’ll definitely be making more hearing videos in the future!

I am with you on whispering. People try to whisper something to me and I am like "dude I can't hear when people talk you think I can hear you whispering to me". Add intercom systems to your list. I dread when I have to use one like to get into a building for security or ordering food. I never use drive-thru!
