    Amazing. I've been captivated by videos of these child prodigies for a couple days, and the most shocking thing about them is seeing how many people take a glance and just continue walking. If I saw some young kid kid precociously shredding classical piano in the middle of a mall, wherever I was gong would have to wait.

    Beaucoup de technicité, une mémoire de rêve, une vélocité qui interpelle le badaud mais dommage que les passages des morceaux choisis ne le soient que pour leur vélocité. L'adagio de la Sonate Pathétique est pourtant magnifique. Il manque dans tout cela un peu de sentiments, d'expressivité, de maturité sans doute... Ça viendra...

    I always encourage young musicians to also write their own pieces. How do you play Chopin's pieces if he did not write them? So if you want to be notable in music, try to write your own pieces beside showing your excellent skill on playing other people's pieces.

    • @wiser36
      @wiser36 5 лет назад

      Even compose them, that's more difficult!

    • @Populous3Tutorials
      @Populous3Tutorials 3 года назад +1

      being a performer only is also legit
      most people wont be composers
      and only a tiny fraction of those who will, will turn good composers

    • @pupfriction1981
      @pupfriction1981 3 года назад +3

      "If you want to be notable in music, write your own pieces"
      That's absolute bullshit. Some composers were gifted at writing music, but utterly incapable of playing their own compositions. It works both ways. Being a composer and being an interpret is different: once the composer finishes writing the piece, the music slips from their grasp and belongs entirely to the one who interprets it.
      Composing and interpreting require entirely different skills and it shouldn't be expected for one to do both in order to be considered a musician.

  • @hansmuller1846
    @hansmuller1846 7 лет назад

    First of all, that was one amazing performance. I mean, even without looking at your age, it was absolutely fascinating. Considering your age, even more. But I must say that with the Pathétique (I know it very well) I could see you still lack the sense of musicality and the variety of touches. This might be because of the piano or the loud surroundings, in that case forgive me. But I presume you just need a few more years and some very good teachers to really get to the top.
