Thanks charge 🫡🎮🔥 the portal is great almost finished the first Spider-Man on it! Honestly for someone who cut their nails often it’s pretty hard. Even with long nails I wouldn’t try pulling too hard bc it can cause pain. try using your finger tips until it loosens up! Hope this helps thanks for asking!
Man, if this came with another cable with a magnetic end that fit the dongle, it would be perfect. That way you could charge it on the dock or using the included cable on the go. Especially since their case has an opening for a charging cable
Missed opportunity to have an official lighting mode, like the DualSense controllers, where the light would slowly pulse orange while charging, then turn off once the Portal is charged. In its current state, the lighting doesn't have much functionality. Still, it's a solid looking accessory.
@@celticthk6761 It wasn’t mentioned when he went through the lighting modes, so I wasn’t aware. Initially, it just seemed like extra RGB lighting for the sake of RGB lighting.
Wish the power A station had some sort of magnetic cable that would magnetically connect to the insert and be about 6 feet long with a USB C tip on the other end. That would be FANTASTIC!!!

The other 3rd party charger with the passthrough USB charging port is more practical therefore better. The larger magnetic unit should also be easier and quicker in finding the magnetic actuation when quickly placing the portal onto the stand on a day to day useage. There is a clear case that is compatible with the dongle or you can place a double sided 3M tape between your portal and the backside of the dongle to prevent it from wiggling.

If you're still wondering... I just set my charger up and my silicone cover gets in the way. I had to take it off to get it to charge. I really wanted this charger, but I don't wanna have to take my cover off permanently. It's to much of a hassle to take off and put back on each time. 😮💨
Unfortunately it only comes with 1 usb-c charge dongle size and it will not fit/charge once you put a case or slim shell on the portal. I installed a Speigen slim case and it will it charge with case installed. The dongle is to short.

Damm!! i just buyed an unofficial one last month, does this official one is case friendly? i have the Spingen case and i have to take it out to charge on the unofficial charging station
I'm here for that same answer. I'd think you'd have to dremel the charge port larger but I'm curious about the screen base and rear, as if it wouldn't topple over
I can agree, if you can get someone with nails to pull it out that's easier lol it'll be hard the first time but after you'll get used to it. Pause 😂 but yeah just take your time and don't hurt yourself
@@TechMarkGamingMy wife tried and literally broke one of her nails 😂. We used a strawberry stem picker and that work. We also tried pliers, tongs, magnetic items (to try and pull it out). I wanted to use something safe without damaging it.

I just use the charger to my phone and use my phone. 😂 Phone and controller saves money, does the same thing, is cheaper to replace a controller if you get stick drift and you can even use a tablet if you want instead. This has been a thing for years now.

Nope they stay on and turn blue. If recommended unplugging or turning it off manually🫡🔥🎮
