Sir, I wanted to make a suggestion I think I found out an alternative way to solve without actual experiment; and it's T=4π✓(IL/mgd²) Where I is the moment of inertia L is the length of extension of the thread m is actually the sum of the mass of the meter rule and the masses presented d is the distance between the threads I= Ml²/12 Where M is the mass of the ruler ( 0.171kg) l is the length of the ruler(1m) I= 0.171×1²/12 I= 0.01425 Let me use your values I= 0.01425 L= 0.7m m= mass of meter rule and the 0.05kg mass m= 0.171+0.05=0.221kg d= 0.9m T=4π✓(0.01425×0.7/ 0.221× 9.8 ×(0.9)² T= 0.94795 Sir I need validation, is it right to use it this way? I solved for other masses too
What a brilliant 👏🎉🎉🎉 contribution! I can see you are VERY SMART 🤓. Only smart people can use equations and run experiments to get PRECISE VALUES. I have checked all the equations you have used! I have seen your expertise in combining basic equations to form complex equations. I have seen all your conversions . I have seen your correct usage of the equations you have provided and also the CORRECT SUBSTITUTIONS. I have seen your correct evaluations of substituted values. I hereby sertify that your suggestion to use the above equation to manipulate the experiment is very correct. Please go ahead. You are very smart 🤓. Please, I wish to know more about you. Thanks once again for your brilliant contribution. Send me regards to your Physics teachers, they have taught you well. God bless you.
Thank you so much sir , I didn't derive the formula myself but I was able to fit the variables in because they were confusing at first. The m and M, the L and l but I found out how to correctly use it after trying different variables inserting masses and checking out past questions. A day before my waec alternative b practicals, I realized everything. Thank you so much sir for looking into the solution, I praise you for not looking down on me but listening. God bless
@gloriapearl6084 was this what you did on the day of your WAEC? If YES , then you were very correct. I don't look down on people, but I respect everyone for WHO THEY ARE ( Human Beings) , and not WHAT THEY ARE ( rich, poor , etc). Try and have what is called SELF CONFIDENCE IN YOU , OK? I am telling you today that you are VERY SMART.

WAEC 2021 is the most closest to this year 2024 practical. I have gone through it. Better still, you can combine 2009 and 2021 to get a holistic knowledge. But I hope the video is not our of place?
Sir, I wanted to make a suggestion
I think I found out an alternative way to solve without actual experiment; and it's T=4π✓(IL/mgd²)
Where I is the moment of inertia
L is the length of extension of the thread
m is actually the sum of the mass of the meter rule and the masses presented
d is the distance between the threads
I= Ml²/12
Where M is the mass of the ruler ( 0.171kg)
l is the length of the ruler(1m)
I= 0.171×1²/12
I= 0.01425
Let me use your values
I= 0.01425
L= 0.7m
m= mass of meter rule and the 0.05kg mass
m= 0.171+0.05=0.221kg
d= 0.9m
T=4π✓(0.01425×0.7/ 0.221× 9.8 ×(0.9)²
T= 0.94795
Sir I need validation, is it right to use it this way?
I solved for other masses too

Sir it's actually gotten from the fact that K=L/✓12
So, The moment of inertia can also be represented as Mk² as it would still come out as Ml²/12
I have honored 🥰 you by pinning 📌 your brilliant comment for the whole world 🌎 to see and learn from you.

Good evening Sir, thank you Sir, I think the practical for this year is from 2009, it correlates with the items the school was asked to provide
The only difference was that waec told the students to record height/length
Also check 2021. Thanks.

@@PhysicsWithBen ok Sir, I want to check it now,in 2021 they were provided with thread instead of tape.. I am about to go through I properly now.
Thanks for not leaving us out
God bless you. Success all through , I wish you.
Thank u sir. GOD bless u. Are the values meant to be in the same decimals
Amen and Amen. Thanks. Just write the values the same way I wrote them.
Thanks sir ❤
God bless you. Wish you success.
Thank you sir
I am encouraged. God bless you. I wish you success in your tomorrow's examinations.
