At 45 I have a ton of gray and since I am a very dark brunette I have to dye my hair every 3 weeks - so the advice I give to younger women is take a break from dying your hair now while you can. Once the gray comes it becomes a ton of work to keep your original color. I know I could let the grey come but I'm not ready for that yet!
Tiffany- You can still find that Alterna product on Amazon! Thumbs up so she can see!
I am really loving the darker blonde on you-totally suits you. I definitely agree with taking breaks here and there with styling, color, etc.
I have to say that you look better than EVER!!!! Your hair color is phenomenal on you and your sin and make up looks flawless xoxo
I love your videos Tiffany! Thank you so much for inspiring me to film! I've loved watching you through the years and am so happy for your success! I love your personality, your decor taste, and your honest insight on every single product that you share with us. Thank you for being you! :)
I have used Aveda shampoo and conditioner for the past 9 years and it has changed the life of my fine hair! I just found that the drugstore shampoos contained too much wax and weighed my hair down.
Then I use It's a 10 for its protective properties and blow dry and heat style. My hairdresser always comments on the health of my hair and I only go every 6 months to get my hair cut. Thanks for sharing your products!
Can't wait for the beach hair video!
I love PHD too. It's great to be able to use only one product when styling
I quit coloring my hair in February and I hate the way my roots look but I don't know what to do to have them blend better. I've kind of just accepted that its going to look silly for a while but itll be worth it in the end.
when I used Pantene I noticed a definite increase in shedding and hair loss so I definitely had to switch, and now my hair is back to normal. but of course different products always work differently for different people! you're lucky that Pantene works with your hair!!! but I have really dry hair and I recently found my new secret weapon shampoo!'
I love living proof line especially their straightening spray. It's like magic to my hair!! Pantene pro v reminds me of my childhood every time I smell it!
I have fine hair like yours, Tiffany, and I used to get highlights every Summer. My hair was always silky and in great condition. It wasn't until my mid 30's that I started noticing my hair changing. It became more dry and less silky. I had to stop doing highlights because I felt it was damaging my hair and making it more prone to breakage. Even though I haven't highlighted my hair for years, my hair is still not like it was when I was younger, and I know it never will be. Your hair ages just like the rest of your body! It's something we don't think about until it happens.
Pantene is actually the only shampoo in the drugstore that has the right pH meant for our hair (4.4-5.5).
Such a great video. I want to watch the progress of your natural darker hair with any blonde bits you add because that thats route I want to go down too. Keep us in the loop. and maybe do a series of the changes. I am sure viewers would love it.
On the Sephora site it says that the Perfect Hair Day provides heat and UV protection! Yay! I am definitely going to try this product. Thanks for the tips!
i don't know how true it is but my friends hair dresser told her that volume shampoo and conditioners strip the color out of your hair, i had never heard that until then. I have been using the pantene keratin shampoo and conditioner and i am obsessed with it!
Please make a makeup tutorial on the look you are wearing Tiffant :)
Hi Tiffany!! I have a request for you, I will be traveling to Washington DC and Israel this summer. Could you please do a tutorial for sweat/budge proof and very light weight makeup look that is still very pretty because a lot of pictures will be taken the whole time!I would so appreciate it!!!
Volumizing shampoos have panthenyl which can dry your hair out by leaving your hair cuticle open which causes hair color to fade and also causes damaged endss and breakage.
My 2.5 year old daughter Adeleigh & I love watching you! You're perfect
You're such a nice classy lady :) this video was so good thanks tiffany!
Hi Tiffany! Those highlights you're referring to are known as balayage. Love!
This was really helpful. Really want to try the perfect hair day. I rarely blow dry my hair.
everyone keeps saying L'oreal shampoo is really bad as well and I don't get it either…it does wonders for my hair when nothing else works!
I think the highlighting technique you are talking about is called balayage. Similar to ombre, but a little more natural.
You look stunning in this video! You should do a tutorial for this look!
On Amazon they have the Alterna Hemp thickening compound in the same colored bottle...but it doesn't say anything about color on the front. Just putting it out there! :)
Alterna has it back on their website! You can also find it on Amazon:)
Great video Tiffany! Looking forward to the no heat beach wave tutorial! xo
I love love love the PHD! It works!! I agree with u on the Alterna and so wish I could find it!
I am going back to my natural brunette as well. Biggest problem I have is that my natural color is a little dull. My stylist warn me about Pantene as well. I went away from it for a while but went back to it because I always got a better result.
Thanks Tiffany! Love your videos, and advices! BEST BEST BEST beauty guru!! You have impecable taste
I prefer your natural hair at least the way it looks now. looks healthy, shiny and great! envious :)
Thank you SO much for this video. I got my hair done last week and I asked for a trim and she ended up cutting inches off... So upsetting! My grandma and I use the hair skin and nail vitamins and they work really well :)
The Thickening Creme looks like it's in stock on the Alterna website. It has different packaging - same color and size but different font.
I just checked the Alterna site and it looks like the thickening compound is available to order now.
You look different. Your glowing.
Gorgeous look. Blue really suits you.
Tiffany, you can still get the Alterna Hemp on Amazon. XX
Can you do a tutorial on this eye look???? Stunning!!!
i checked the website they have the ticking cream back in stock! and a few other places too i can't wait to try it
How often do you wash your hair?
Please try Peter Roth Thomas shampoo you will LOVE IT! I have just discovered it after staying at a Hilton. Can't wait for your beachy hair tutorial!
Pantene used to have a line called sheer volume the shampoo was awesome not sure if its still around also the sheer volume aerosol hair spray was the best! I also have the tres 2 one I love it but the Pantene one was ever so slightly less hold and smelled so good! Hey remember Rave??! Lol I used that as a teen
My hair is tailbone length, it grows on average 1.5 inches a month. My secret? No chemical processing, no heat styling, good products that contain no silicone (or anything ending in 'cone' and no sulfates. My hair is super strong, and healthy. For a while I used the vitamin regimen from the Long Hair Community, but it made ALL my hair grow longer, faster, who wants to have to shave your legs twice a day? lol
Thanks for sharing Tiff... I love Pantene products myself xoxox
google the hemp thickening compound because I found it a few diff places online including amazon =)
Tiffany! If you're looking for a word to call an ombre that isn't solid it's called balayage!
Is it bad that every time I'm watching your videos my 2 year old comes over and says "mommy, that Titney". Haha! Love your videos!
I just started taking biotin for hair nail & skin a week ago and i cant wait to see the result..
At 5:46, anyone else think they missed a voicemail?! Haha
Such great info babes! I have got to get back into Pantene! It's been a long time
You've been rocking the side hair lately, new thing? I love it on both sides! :)
Tiffany!!
I just looked on Amazon. They have that alterna help stuff on there. Same exact bottle, not used! I'd give it a try. :)
Hemp, not help. Dumb autocorrect.
Okay, loved the video as always! I Realize this is off topic but can you do a video with your Tom Ford Silvered Topaz Quad....I just ordered one and need a video to help me out! Thanks
i just checked the alterna website and the hemp products are back in stock :)
Great tips. I have been thinking about buying items off the Living Proof line. You might have persuaded me. :)
Love this eye look. Do you have a tutorial on this look? Thanks for all the videos
What eye look are you wearing? I love it!
Your hair is gorgeous!
On average, how often do you put heat on your hair? I have very frizzy, thick and long hair, but rarely ever use heat - unless I'm at the salon or it's a very special occasion. I have virgin hair, never coloured. Wondering if the Living Proof product will help diminish frizz and smooth out my hair if there is no heat?
You should get a keratin treatment at your salon! It's a 3 day process that basically conditions. Defrizzes, and keeps it from getting frizzy from humidity. The treatments lasts months!
I found many tubes of Alterna Hemp Thickening Compound on ebay... you might want to check, if you want to buy it...........
Look for the Hemp Thickening Compound on eBay! I saw it on there!
Bah I have hair like yours (thin, fine, straight) and.. it doesn't grow. 3 years ago i quit dye completely, and 1 year ago i quit heat styling, using silicones, and chemical-based shampoos. 6 months ago I started weekly coconut oil treatments. Still no improvement on my extreme breakage :(
Have you tried the Alterna Caviar CC cream? I think that would be a good substitute for the hemp cream! It's a 10 in 1!
Thanks for the tips! Have a great Monday!
Alternas philosophy is Good Better Best.. Good is hemp line, better is bamboo line, best is caviar line. I work and manage a salon. I am ordering all 3 lines of Alterna all the time. It's isn't discontinued, just a harder product to find. Not as popular.
Great video! Thanks Tiffany! I always trust and respect your recommendations and tips :)
You look great, as always! But I just can't help missing your blonde hair... you just don't look the same with dark hair...
I really needed this video because I want to grow my hair :)
found many tubes of Alterna Hemp Thickening Compound on ebay... you might want to check, if you want to buy it...........
They have the alterna thickening compound on amazon
Princess as always!👑👑👑
Random question - what are the dimensions of your closet? We are building a home and I want my closet to be big enough and yours is fabulous!
Love your eye makeup, please do a tutorial :)
I stopped dying my hair about 2 years ago and it is so silky and soft which is great but now I cant get curl to hold at all! I even tried the Hot Off the Press and it just goes straight when I walk outside..uhhh
Great video tiff x could you please do a products I've used up x
I NEVER use heat on my hair and I havent colored it in like a year and its just in bad shape still. I dont know if its because I have natural curls or what but it always just looks poor :( :(
What are you wearing over your bite lip cream in crush? I have it but it's matte you didn't list another lip product in the description box also can you list what colors you're wearing on your eyes? I've been waiting for an everyday look with this palette more nude
how you're describing the ombre you want, I think you would enjoy balayage. the hair stylist put random little brush strokes in your hair && looks more natural
Btw I found the hemp product on Amazon. :)
Im 28 and have had greys since 19. Can't take a break from dying :(
Good tips. ♥ Elle
At 1.34 tiffany said "mainance" or "meinance". Can someone tell me what does it mean? (I'm italian) tiffany you are the best youtuber ever!!! ❤️❤️
What is the top you are wearing? It is not mentioned in the info area. Love the color on you :)
I stopped using Pantene, Herbal Essence and those kind of shampoes years ago and my hair has never been healthier..
Where is your top from? That color is gorgeous on you btw.
Does anybody have recommendations for a curl cream for fine wavy/curly hair?
Please can you tellme the brand of the green tuve you use for you haire alterna whatbis the name please?
My hair is so choppy and layered. The layers just don't grow... I debated on just cutting it all the same length
If you compare prenatal and hair skin and nail vitamins are the sane but prenatal vitamins are a lot cheaper.
What products would u suggest for bleached hair? I really like the highlights but the nasty feel is making me regret getting this. Help me! 😣 lol
looks like you can find that alterna hemp stuff on sleekhair .com not sure if its the same but it looks like it
I recently get highlights and it's the first I've had my hair this way. Do u think that hemp product will help my hair? It's been feeling a little nasty I feel like I can't do anything to it right now I can't even run my fingers through my hair without it feeling nasty
I think having curly hair is like the easiest... I haven't used heat on my hair for years. I just put in my products and let it air dry, often while I'm sleeping. I just can't bring me to straighten my hair because it takes so much time when I could take 5 minutes to put product in my hair. It's only straight when I leave the hair dresser like every 6 months because I have no breakage. If you're curly, I recommend the website naturallycurly.com. It is great for finding products that work for you
Do you use any oils like Argan oil or Macadamia oil for a nice shine?
you should watch my daytime makeup look. I'm new to youtube and would love some suggestions.
What brand of vitamins do you use?
I use the Natures Bounty gummies
Thanks! I had the same question. :) *****
***** Thanks! I've taken the regular Nature's Bounty tablets in the the past and they're good too. I'll have to try the gummies.
P.S. I've been a fan for a loong time. Since you were doing videos in your closet back in the day. I've learned so much from you, I always enjoy your honesty and I still enjoy watching. You're one of the best on RUclips, by far. :-)
Tiffany Fernandez aw thank you Tiffany!
what is the name of the vitamins that you use?
Idk why everyone says Pantene is bad
As a woman in her 40's, lets just say...wait until you start turning gray! It takes SOOO much more effort in the hair coloring department to keep your hair looking good. It's tiring. lol
