Contrary to what many say this was fantastic. I was trying to update BIOS and given the instructions to stop Bitlocker first. Also without Bitlocker recovery key you can face insurmountable problems getting your computer to work again without losing all your files. I tried all the official instructions and other RUclips videos and nowhere does it mention that you may not be able to find Bitlocker on your system. Nor was my recovery key automatically stored on Microsoft. So I couldn’t do any updates. Now following these instructions I finally see ‘START THE SERVICE’ under Bitlocker encryption. I don’t want to do that as I want to do those BIOS updates so my dilemma was solved with this video. I had spent hours trying to find and disable Bitlocker only to find that it wasn’t automatically started as everyone says it would be. This was a great help.
you could notify us from the start of the videos that this service is not available on windows 10 home edition. Because I just spend all this time and followed your instructions only to find to that it was not available on my windows version
