Most of the 993 parts will last forever, but the speaker grills are ridiculously fragile. I’ve cracked both of the ones on the rear shelf. I applaud your patience with the grills. I gave up with mine after 10 minutes and I’m not in a hurry to try again.

Why not just replace the speaker? I have the same colour interior.

@co2588 no reason, especially if you can find an oem look. Nice to repair myself, learn about the car and cost about $20 from memory, excluding time.
