Omg Alexa, I wish I could show you (most of the) dutch thrift stores: Tiny, stuffed, too many people in small isles, the weirdest bad lighting, one or two fitting rooms, regular baskets (no carts). I'm SO jealous of these big ass American thrift stores, and especially this one! x
when i lived in the netherlands i went to Rataplan stores and i found some amazing stuff there, specifically those in Haarlem... it feels pretty similar to what you're looking for... but you probably already know those, idk?? good luck on your thrifting journey anyways!

The two framed prints of women are prints from Lady Godey's Lady"s Book of fashion from the1870's. My mother had them when I was younger. I always liked them.
What I do when I want to wear a real/ cute outfit but still be able to try on clothes is I wear a long skirt that I can just try on under, or a bodysuit under (the one I have goes into fitted shorts) so that I can have style and function/ stay practical for thrifting while still being happy with what I wore :)
The cream and black sweaters looked great on you. When we moved from OC to the Central Coast I told my husband that I wanted one wall in our bathroom to have a weird or special to me framed art. My other 3 walls all have butterfly art items. Framed, plates, etc. I wish there was a way to send pics to you to share what I did.

To try on pants, etc, at a thrift store, just find a flowy longer skirt and you can try things on under it. I do it all the time.
