Bailee Madison may be young, small and still emerging in Hollywood, but she has an insight to life that is heard when she speaks and felt when she smiles far beyond her years, size and stature. The excitement she exudes for her career as a young actress is grounded in the purpose she believes God has for her life. “My mom has always told me when you’re done with that movie, you have to stay humble Bailee,” and humbled she is.
On a very adventurous path, acting in movies such as Bridge to Terabithia and five movies to be released in the next year and half, Bailee mingles on the set with stars such as Katie Holmes, Tobey Maguire, Natalie Portman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Hilary Swank and Minnie Driver. It can be intimidating and difficult for a young actress to keep things in perspective. Yet Bailee knows that she was chosen to do this and realizes the hard work required and challenges to overcome. In these moments, she simply talks to her best friend-God. She prays for understanding.
Out of the mouth of just a child, Bailee confidently assures others that if you have God in your life, if you just look to your Heavenly Father despite struggles and hard times He is always watching over you.

My family first learned of Bailee on Wizards of Waverly Place. We were taken with the amazing talent she had at such a young age, We were so thrilled to learn shortly after that she was a Christian - along with David Henry. Keep these folks in your prayers as the Lord leads: Hollywood is a brutal place for these souls. Lord keep them strong and be a light for your love!!

i'm a huge movie guy. love movies. i love researching actors and what not. however, i feel like there are so many great christian influences in other types of entertainment (sports, music) which is great, but the film industry is one that truly seems to be missing some big name christian actors. i pray that this girl gets as big as others. she could have (and already does...) such a great influence on the film industry.

True, though I am not judging. I really enjoyed Brothers, its a great movie. Believe me, if I wasn't scared of horror movies I would watch don't be afraid of the dark haha

johnlwiebe yeah, I’ve wondered why she was in Good Witch and The Fosters. I know people have differing beliefs on witchcraft and homosexuality, but I wondered similarly to you (I’m not judging, I’ve obviously watched both shows lol)
I also wonder why she did not be afraid of the dark, that months before the release of Do not be afraid of the dark she had starred in letters to God. in the same year she made a film of God and another film that is not of God and comes to say that she makes films for the whole family.

We have to ask the human … Jesus. He’s the human we talk to. Hence why a human was sent. That’s where the grace & humbleness comes from. Can you imagine being in his presence when he was alive? Knowing he knew everyone was where they were at and didn’t judge. Christ, what a human so we could have him as our guide, he’s so sacred!
