    I watched twin peaks with my friends in college (2017ish)… our jaws were on the floor. To this day there’s still nothing like it. Can’t even imagine what it must’ve been like seeing it in the 90s

      I had friends that were obsessed with it. There was nothing else like it. I lived in Wilmington NC for a while, in the neighborhood where much of Blue Velvet was filmed. It was fun spotting the places from the outdoor scenes.

    I used to work for the Suquamish native tribe in Washington state. Their Kiana Lodge was used for portions of the pilot Twin Peaks, and theyre proud to show it off to sightseers

    Twin Peaks is one of the pioneers of modern serial, story-arc television. Other shows were 'story of the week' but Twin Peaks was about being a 'season'. Of course it was ONE season before the network interfered with the formula, but what a season.

    I learned a lot about her mom that I never knew. Like any teenage boy of course I watched Mod Squad. But I didn't recognize her in Twin Peaks and make that connection. Now I have to go back and look.

    BOB was played by Frank Silva, who was a member of the film crew on the pilot. The story of his casting is fascinating, and he was absolutely tremendous whenever he appeared. Sadly, he passed away a few years after the show's original run.

    I was obsessed with Twin Peaks. Still sticks with me to this day. It was groundbreaking tv, the way I imagine Twilight Zone was. Completely different from everything tv had ever been. The writing, production, cast, and the amazing music were all unforgettable. Helluva family this girl grew up in.

    I didn’t know until the past year that Quincy was her father. From musicians interviewed Quincy was a genius to work with. They say he had a way to get what he wanted while getting the best out of the musician and making g them comfortable.

    3:10 getting another network back in the 70's and 80's was a big deal before cable.
    I remember when we got the new local FOX UHF channel 25 as a kid. again, being
    a kid back then a new channel especially UHF had a good chance of having kids
    shows and it did not disappoint.

    Twin Peaks changed tv and all of a sudden there were all these shows that tried to copy it in their own way. I remember when Northern Exposure came out after TP and it didn't have nearly the weirdness of it but it was really quirky with great writing and I could see that TP influenced that show.

      Yes! Shows like Northern Exposure and Scrubs came along, being very quirky and weird, and with Scrubs having dream sequences, fantasies, hallucinations etc. Twin Peaks definitely changed television
