How much time does it take the code to arrive? I seem like it got the money down but I didn't get an SMS or I didnt see the transaction on the card/account history (checked on the bank app / online web )

I made a mistake of guessing the code and later called the Equity customer, whom informed me to go to the nearest Equity bank to get the code. After getting the code, i have been trying the whole day to confirm my account and activate it, but it has declined. The confirmation option in the PayPal account is no more there! What should i do?

Thank you for your question.
Please note that you can only add Equity Bank. It is the only bank that is supported by PayPal.
Here's what you need to do.
Go to ke.equitybankgroup.com/paypal/ and click on withdraw from PayPal
This will take you to the bank's self-service portal.
Sign up.
Next up you will need to Log in to the Portal and look for a place to link the bank account to PayPal.
It's that simple.
NB: Kindly ensure that your email address and phone number are identical as those on PayPal.
Also, allow pop-ups and cookies.

First off, I think you should wait for like 24 hours before you try and link
Secondly, you should also inquire from Equity if your account is enabled for online transactions.
Finally, you should have at least 400 kshs in your Equity account.

I'm not sure you should use an account belonging to your Mum because opening an account is free.
I believe it is against PayPal's Terms of Service.
I'd recommend you get your own PayPal account to avoid having your funds frozen by PayPal.

Thank you for your question.
Once you link your card to verify, the 4 digits are sent to your bank as a statement.
You will need to go to Equity bank and get your statement with the relevant 4 digit code.
Personally, I have an Equitel line and when I verified my PayPal account the code came into my Messages as a Transaction with the 4 digit code.

That's the only way that PayPal sends the code, as far as I'm concerned.
Have you tried asking your bank if there's a transaction code sent by PayPal?
Due to the crisis where having I cannot contact them properly. Fortunately my aunt work there and will probably ask her to check for me.

Hello Edwin, You have to input the confirmation code which is a 4 digit code that PayPal sends you.
Firstly, you can get this from any Equity bank branch in under 5 minutes by requesting for your bank statement.
Secondly, if you have an Equitel line, the code gets to your phone immediately you link your card.
Feel free to use either method and in case you do not have an Equitel line, get one. It will save you trips to the bank, and you can easily transact from your account on your mobile phone.

You will need to link your bank first and the only supported bank is Equity Bank in Kenya.
You need to sign up on Equity bank first and then link your PayPal to Equity to be able to withdraw via bank account.

I'm not sure if there's any bank account accepted by PayPal in Albania, therefore, you will have to find out if there's any and then add the bank account to your PayPal for easy withdrawals.

If you have an Equitel line then you should have received it.
If you don't have the line, you'll need to visit your bank and get a statement and the "code" will be on the statement.

If your PayPal account indicates that it's verified then it is.
As for the website that's giving you the error, tell them to check again.
